By Marta Cox Here we are back in the world that Ms Reus has created populated by ( amongst others ) Werewolves, Vampires, Demigods, Half Demons and Dragons. Oh yes it's all about the Dragons who until recently had been believed to be extinct and we learned in the previous book Taste of Darkness that exactly the opposite is true. Some Dragons are in hibernation but there are still those awake in the world but cautiously protecting their Clans. Keelin has led a sheltered life and always longed to spread her wings ( no pun intended!) and it's only in recent months that she has finally escaped from her overprotective family. Whilst helping track down her missing brother Drake she met Bran a fellow Dragon who seemed beyond interested in her but Keelin has no wish to exchange one gilded cage for another. No Keelin has a job and the protection of the Stavros Wolf Pack and absolutely no intention of giving up her new found independence but Bran is one very determined Dragon willing to woo her in any way he can. Yes he feels the urge to mate with her but he sees the woman she is and wishes to cherish not crush her. Keelin is up for a little fooling around as hey that Dragon is mighty fine but whilst she is looking at Bran she fails to see the danger that's stalking her and pretty soon it's clear that there's a target and it's painted on Keelins back! I love these characters and the slightly cuckoo world they live in. I mean the very idea of a Dragon living amongst Werewolves is just crazy and yet this author pulls it off. Nothing says love like a male ready to barbecue your enemies and if he accidentally takes out the odd truck well that's just plain old enthusiasm . That's what I love about these stories they are just such fun to read. Yes we have a likeable heroine who is loyal but she's paired here with a male who respects her and although he is protective Bran never tries to stifle her. Keelin might put her foot in it occasionally but when their passion ignites it's a blaze to warm the cockles of the hardest heart!I really enjoy this series full of sexy shifters but I think it's the world the author has created that really keeps me coming back. From fight club to a bar run by a Half Demon there's always something interesting going on and speaking of Half Demons I can't wait to read Bo's story. Fast fun and well written , what's not to love? Another winner from Ms ReusI was gifted a copy if this in exchange for an honest review

By Shirl B From her over protective family, Dragon shifter Keelin takes charge and lives life on her terms! Bran - an Alpha Dragon from another clan was happy just taking things as they came... until Keelin! Their 'battle' - he wants to keep her, she wants to 'keep her' as well, not giving up control of her life as she wants it. With the cast from the first 2 books in this great series still in the picture she learns to protect herself and allow Bran to as well!!! Loved it!!!

I just love this series By Joanita I just love this series, and this book was fantastic.The chemistry between Keelin and Bran was so very hot, and I loved how Bran, a very alpha dragon, didn’t try to control Keelin. He didn’t see a fragile woman, but an independent, sexy woman he wanted for himself. It took quite a while for Keelin to realise that she wouldn’t have to give up her independence, her sense of self, to be with Bran. But Bran was just so wonderful with Keelin, and so very convincing.I REALLY loved this book – the sexy and intense romance, the great plot and wonderful characters. There was even a hint of a romance between Bo and Nyx. I really do hope they get their own story.Bo sure is one damn sexy half-demon.I can’t wait for the next book, and I'm hoping it's either Conall or Bo’s book. Pretty please can the next book be available soon….A must read for all PNR fans.

I was encouraged by Kiana Shaw story "Single Mom Success: From Welfare to Life's Riches" I love her quote "Our kids are the reason we must succeed, not our excuse not to." She talks about spending time with our kids and still being able to run a successful business as a single parent. This helped motivate me and gave me ideas on how I am to still be a mom to my kids and run a business. Thanks Kiana Shaw for sharing your story! Great Job to Aprille Franks-Hunt and all of the Co-Authors on coming together to share your stories with the world.

It hits close to home. Some of the experiences ARE my life's story. This book will let the reader know the power is within themselves. It all starts with self. It's not so much of a self help book but many inspirational stories from many different experiences. And that is what I thoroughly enjoyed about this book. It wasn't just based on one woman's experience but a collection of women. Encouragement to stand tall and love yourself just the way you are. #getyourlifeback

More Kreed and Avery By Melody Grabeel This novella is the 3rd in the Sealed series and overlaps the time period of Sealed and Teased.Kreed is on deployment somewhere in the Middle East. He's trying his best to build a relationship with the woman he only spent a few days with.. She has made him change his thinking of his future plans.Avery is a college student and in love with Kreed and in denial about it. She doesn't know how she could love someone she only a few days with. She lives for the few stolen moments when they can talk or Skype and despairs when she goes days or longer not hearing from himThis story is told thru emails, phone calls and Skype calls. It is a very interesting way of keeping a story going. It's mostly told from Kreed's perspective.We first met the characters in Sealed as their attraction built while Kreed was on leave and when Avery moved from Texas to Baltimore to live with his sister. I enjoyed reading their story as it was written. It almost felt as if you were apart of what was going on. It helps to bridge the gap between what happened in Sealed and what will happen in the next installment.

Like the old saying goes, short and sweet. We truly feel the relationship blossom and grow between 2 people who want to be together and throw in being in the military, to add even more chaos. We are left to wonder, what is coming in the next book in this awesome series!

This will get you pumped up for their story in Secured coming out on 7/3/15. Watch out for the fireworks that are going to fly apart.

The answer lies in the 300 Virginia soldiers who “galvanized” into the Union army. These were men from Union prisoner of war camps who enlisted in the United State Volunteers and were sent west to fight Indians. Why “galvanized?” An iron bucket coated with zinc is said to be “galvanized,” but it is still an iron bucket; thusly a Confederate clad in Union blue is still a Confederate, hence the slang term of the 1860s, a “galvanized Yankee.” Over 3,000 Confederate POWs volunteered to shed their prisoners’ rags, get new uniforms, pick up new muskets, and travel as far west as New Mexico and Utah, to guard the stage coach and telegraph lines, the only links between the east and west coasts. This first-ever study of Virginia galvanized men begins with a geography of western roads, rivers, and boundaries, and the horrible deaths from malnutrition, disease, and scalping. The author fully probes the cruel and intentional camp starvation promoted by one Union colonel. The book concludes with a complete roster of every soldier, including Confederate service, camp experience, Union service, post-war pensions, and, in most cases, burial plot location, tombstone description, and widow information.

Dr. Lowry's finely researched account addresses the Virginian Confederates who, following their wartime capture, volunteered to serve on the Indian Frontier in the hope of escaping the miseries of prisoner-of-war camps--only for many of them to meet suffering as bad or worse in the West. While Rebs from every state became "galvanized Yankees" during the war, Lowry's concentration on Virginians allows him to sharpen the focus and provide richer details on the men and their travails. Over the past decades, the author has contributed invaluable and unique research on largely unexplored aspects of the Civil War, dramatically expanding our knowledge of the times and the men, and I have enjoyed and learned from his many books (I read every book or pamphlet Lowry produces). Yet, any reader has favorites. Among my faves, "Galvanized Virginians in the Indian Wars" now occupies a top spot. Fascinating subject, well presented. Highly recommended.

Lowry provides a format for the research of his friend, the late Robert E. Denney. a major in the U.S. Army who held the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Silver Star, two Bronze Stars and two Purple Hearts. Together, Lowry and Denney provide an intensely fact-based look at those Virginian soldiers who loyally refused to fight against their former comrades in the Confederate States Army but volunteered to protected settlers from Indians as an alternative to starvation in Union prison camps. Lowry is fair to everybody -- the North, the South, and the Indians. He points out that prisoner conditions were generally brutal for Yankees and Rebels alike, though the Confederates were worse..His knowledgeable context and Denney's meticulous study of the records belongs in every Civil War collection. An eminently worthwhile book.

Primanzon Well I think I have a new book boyfriend and I think his name is Stephano Rinaldi.....sigh. Yes, he is Gianni's brother and it looks like he's fallen for Kyra, who is Leah's (Gianni's fiancee's best friend).Kyra has not had an easy time with the opposite sex and for that reason, she wants nothing more than a one night stand. Stephano who has been badly hurt by the women in his past wants the same thing as Kyra does. EXCEPT until he meets Kyra and she meets him! He is totally taken by her and he wants to get to know her better. At this point she finally allows him and the chemistry between the two is off the charts. Kyra is trying to hide her awful past and Stephano wants to be with her to protect her amongst other things. .Leave it to Emily Jane Trent to write another exciting, informative, and sexy story. I had trouble trying to put this book down. Emily has also taken us to Switzerland and to Germany this time. Thanks for doing all of that extra work to take us to places that some of us have never seen!!You all need to read this book and I can't wait to read "Secrets" which is Book 2 in this wonderful series!

Kyra is Leah’s best friend who also plays a huge role in Leah’s life. Stephano was also in the background as Gianni and Daniella’s brother and we got a chance to finally meet him at the end of Leah’s Seduction while they were in Zurich.Kyra and Stephano’s story is another great story not to miss! Stephano is a fashion photographer who travels the world which keeps him busy and unattached. And Kyra’s a beautiful model who’s single and likes to keep it that way. With a few days together sounds like the perfect set up. But one thing leads to hot and steamy wild passionate sex. Will that be enough for them? Can they keep it casual and go their separate ways? As Kyra and Stephano spend time together, Stephano is sensing that Kyra is hiding something important about her past. Stephano feels the need and wants to protect Kyra from a past he doesn’t know about. Kyra’s skittish from the moment they met. Can Kyra trust Stephano with her past she wants to forget about? What happens when two people are drawn to each other and the attraction and passion is more than what they bargained for which may lead to possible future? But what will happen when Kyra’s past catches up with her present? Will Stephano keep his promise to protect Kyra at all cost? I cannot wait for the 2nd installment. This was a page turner. It's probably the only book from this series I REALLY wish was longer. Besides the great suspense, I thought it was a nice change that it was not a "sure thing" the H and h were going to be a couple from the beginning of the book, and I thought there was a really nice buildup to the romance. Normally, I would have expected a big grovel from the H due to his actions to the h in the beginning of the book. However, the author did a good job explaining how the h can "read people", and can actually get a true sense of his remorse without him having to say a lot. A couple of reasons I wished it was longer--the "I love you's" came pretty quick, also, she has a son who is very ill--that whole part seemed to get pushed WAY aside. I felt it would have been more important to her character as as a caring mother if this was expanded upon. The only real "issue" I had with this book is something that happens within all these stories, but never bothered me before. We have the characters from the previous books popping up like usual, but it seems very disjointed to me. These new characters were not part of the original 8, and it is almost like a new series should have been started since this couple doesn't seem to belong or be as close with the first group. Also, there is a lead in to the next book (which actually looks very good), but again, feels out of place within this book's plot. These aspects just didn't flow well within the story for me.

I would recommend reading this book if you have been abused in any shape or form. It is a true testimony that healing is possible and within reach if you are willing to put in the work. I have truly been blessed with the opportunity to read this book. I would highly recommend this book.

By Pamela Holloway Taylor takes us inside a world that most of us never knew existed - the world of subliminal advertising, sales manipulation and everyday brainwashing. He exposes the mental manipulation behind it all, dissects how it works and helps you understand what you can do to protect yourself from it. Mind Programming not only exposes external influences but also teaches you how to use the same mental capacity for good. Taylor provides an assortment of tools and methods to help you take back control of your mind and reprogram it to achieve your goals and realize your dreams. This is a fabulous book and I highly recommend it!

One of the most courageous exposes of our time By Terri Marie Even though I consider myself to be quite aware of what is going on in the world, this book boldly shatters illusions about how extensive the mind control in our society has become. Eldon Taylor gives specific and documented examples of the deliberate and aggressive ploys to control our behavior and our minds. Are you really free? Only if you can take back control your mind. Thank heavens, Dr. Taylor shows us how in one of the most important books I have ever read..

Morley My review of the book: "Mind Programming" by Eldon Taylor.The positive:There are some good points made about persuasive techniques. The book also has a CD, I happen to believe in the effectiveness of subliminal methods and this CD is a genuine subliminal. And if you don't believe in such technology it is at least a good relaxation CD because of the fine soothing music.The negative:The book is on final analysis , a sales pitch for this guy's products. He continually refers to his other books, CDs and his web site. Much of his book, in fact 30% of it, is merely supporting arguments for his subliminal CD technology which he sells at $90 AUD EACH!As said above he mentions various persuasive techiques, however much of it is not original and the discussion of these techniques are too brief and thin. There are far better books on these methods and principles, which are deeper and richer in their discussion. I also suspect he uses the same techniques that he describes to sell his book for example: the social proof technique, where you employ numerous others to support your product to give it credibility and persuade others to purchase it. Additionally I have a strong suspicion about the favorable reviews for his book at Amazon.I also suspect some of his references such as the : advertising training manual, is a fabrication, created to sell his message. The book also has a lot of loony references such as HARRP mind control technology and the Illuminati .For example: he mentions Edgar Cayce, who espoused that eating meat conveys negative emotions to the human and that abstaining from meat consumption leads to an increase in psychic abilities.What rubbish.Final summation: a book by a greed head, which is not much more that an advertisement for his overpriced CDs and his books. It has only one good point compared to it's competition, it's CD.Addition:The: " THE TOP SECRET ADVERTISING TRAINING MANUAL" is a fake, in my opinion. First of all Taylor states that this is from a: "VERY PRESTIGIOUS ADVERTISING COMPANY". Why does Taylor not name it, because it is probably a fraud.The reasoning why I think this is the case, the language used is way over the top as mentioned above in another review. I came to this opinion as well, but I did not bother to mention it in my initial review. However, there are other reasons I suspect that this is a fabrication, very logical reasons.Brand loyalty and customer goodwill are essential and critical factors for the success of a company and it's products. Now the techniques of this training course would have been exposed long ago to the media by students and SMART CONSUMERS, upset and disgusted by the methods employed. This would have revealed this company and the companies associated with it. This would kill this advertising agency.Why?, because most consumers would be repulsed by the means used, this would destroy customer goodwill for the client companies' products and there would be considerable loss in sales. Thus to maintain this goodwill , which takes years and years of hard work to build, other companies would drop this agency like a stone, because of fear of guilt by association even if they did not employ such methods.Such methods as described in the manual would be seen as a loser by smart advertising executives, because they would backfire. And why employ them when traditional methods of advertising work just fine, just ask Coke and Mc Donald's.For example, could you imagine the field day the media would have with a CEO who stated the following: "The true beauty of this is that the consumer pays to be "brain washed," while we corporate fat cats laugh all the way to the bank." Now would any SMART executive write such nonsense IN A TRAINING MANUAL, knowing of this possibility. Plus such a provocative statements would surely provoke some of the more honest and moralistic students?And this a marked give away that Taylor probably wrote it. See Taylor in my opinion has no subtlety in his manipulative method. I suspect he overuses the 'SOCIAL PROOF TECHIQUE METHOD" here and at his site. Way too many testimonies given at his web site, for instance. There are FAR to many references to his other books in this one, excessively so. And the excessively convoluted nature of the psycho sexual subliminal messages as described in the manual and the OVER THE TOP comments contained in it, are a dead giveaway, in my opinion. I suspect Taylor was rubbing his hands while he was writing this manual, self-congratulating himself on how smart and DEVIOUS he is, and if this is the case he over did it, it is a very crude display of manipulation, poorly done.Someone after my review wrote this: "It's a MUST have. If you're one who's searching for the TRUTH, this book is a great place to start. TELL A FRIEND"I have a GREAT SUSPICION, that Taylor.... a man of questionable intregrity, is up to his old tricks.BUYER BEWARE!

Loving how things are moving along.Slade and Trinity are a fab couple, now without their problems, I'm glad they are stronger than ever and new trying to work on planing their Wedding, Slade did a fantastic job of the proposal, loved how they all came together to make it special for Trinity.You just know then planning is going to be car crash viewing, they just done't do anything easy do they?Skye and Carson attempting to help them with the planning. You can detect tey are feeling a little envious but they will get their own HEA.Slade is being really stubborn about not accepting money from Mike, and rightly so. I would always be thinking there would be an ulterior motive.Credit where credit is die though, Slade does not want to come between Trinity and her dad, so admirable. When Mike told Trinity himself, she was going to be hurt and detest him. They have had a few disagreements in the past, but this one has really hurt her. I hope she calms down enough to see the two men in her life working it out. Hopefully in turn she will come around and accept and work through this situation.Ryan and Janice really can't accept Pike, not that he has done anything wrong, they just have very strong feelings for Asher, which has now intensified having met Abby.I was surprised with Silke's reaction to the news about Asher, and secretly hoping she will ditch Pike, even though Silke falls under Abby's spell; she and Asher talk and Silke is really angry about her feelings towards Asher. Silke is holding back her feelings for Pike but she has been honest and upfront with him about the whole situation. Anyone can see how much she loves Asher.This is going to be a roller coaster in the coming installments, can't wait to see how it develops.

I'm glad this family is not being seen as the perfect family and they have their struggles like everyone else. That Mike is family realising that he can't keep behaving like he does because he might loose trinity for good, but spade is to nice for that to happen. I'm shocked at the way Janice has treated Pike, she should be nice because he's silk's boyfriend, even if they're routing for Arsen.

Overall I loved it but really wished more characters mentioned....feel like a few of them need more of a storyline. Lately we have only gotten bits of Theo/Alex and Roland/Heath. I also want to see more of Skye and Cayson. They have taken a backseat lately and I really didn't like some of their story in this book.
