This is the story of London and Piers she's a teacher he's a single dad. He wanted her from the moment he saw her and the feeling was definitely mutual. Loved the story and love Cottonwood Falls. Cannot wait for the next book in the series and hope that we will get a little glimpse of London and Piers.

Pier was like a predator when he set sight on to conquer the woman that hold the key to heart and future. Javier became a outgoing young man. 15 of 15 people found the following review helpful. 6 "Bratwurst" stars By paloma 6 +++++ Bratwurst stars!this book was somethingI was almost going to give up because it took so long to start but once I finished I realized I wouldn't have had it any other way because this was PERFECTif you make it past the beginning you are in for a nice slow burn of a romance that will keep you up all night comfortably turning pages.Mariana Zapata's writing is flowy and smooth and so weaved into the story you don't even realize you are reading.I got so caught up in Kulti's devilish broody, ass holey, attitude that before I knew it I was at 60 something percent without even realizing.Salome was a joy to read about because you rarely get the hispanic heroines I swear I peed a little I was so excited!she was so much like me..hated public speaking ..watches british comedies on netflix..and she fangirl OD over Kulti for most of her life..and that is the same passionate fangirling that exercise so I loved her.Im purposly not saying much about Kulti because I could go on and on about him. but he was a man of few words that when he did speak and confessed how he felt about her..I had tears in my eyes...omgI experienced a level of comfortableness reading this that I only ever experienced with one other book...love Unscripted by Tina Reber.go read this! its just so good..believe the hype.

By Amazon Customer So I just started reading this and I'm barely half way through it but I have to say that I am quite impressed!I read a lot and as long as the story is good and the character development is half way decent I can work with poor editing.I love these characters, hes a strong silent type and shes a sweet, tough chick who lives with drive and determination to follow her dream. I am in love with the characters and I will be very sad when its over so I'm taking my time (read: distracting myself so I don't rush through to the end...ie doing a customer review!)She draws him out by calling him on his piss poor attitude and he is obviously not used to that, well who is when you made millions of dollars and have women throwing themselves at your feet all day long? He sees her passion and her goodness and starts to open himself up to her.I strongly recommend!!!

I love her and her driven way. She doesn't just wish for something; she goes right after it. She saw Reiner Kulti play and she wanted to be just like him. Some bumps may have been along the road and she may not have ended up in the best of places, but she loved it, she loved her team.So imagine her surprise when she found out her idol and retired soccer player, Reiner 'The King' Kulti would be her coach. Cue incoming panic-attack that showed itself on a press conference - that part made me laugh my soul out.Of course that a made-up image you have of your idol - who, let's face it, can never do wrong - is something sacred; your idol is sacred. But when she came face-to-face with him, only to learn differently... Thing is, Kulti's just a human being - and Sal kept reminding herself of this by having a funny mantra - and he has a past and secrets. I also love the side characters - Sal's dad was awesome.But, I have to say, he surprised me. He was also my very first soccer player hero I've read about. Mariana did say this book was different from Lingus and Under Locke. Both of them kept us waiting for when the main characters would finally realize there's something between them; they would finally kiss and well, let's face it, give us some hot scenes. *tipping imaginary hat to my favorite tattoo artist ever, Dex* Kulti didn't disappoint. It took him quite a while, but he got there with Sal and it was hot. It was also swoon-worthy. He's not a man of many words but when he does open his mouth to speak..."I came to the Pipers for you."By the way, I want to thank Mariana from the bottom of my heart for giving me a major surprise in this book, a scene that left me mush. MUSH, I'm telling you! It was something I've been dying to read and the fact that she wrote it in... I'm not going to say what it is, you'll have to read to see.I'm just going to end this review with my rating of 5 stars - can't wait to see what MZ's working on next - and with the advice to read this book. Not as good as it's predecessors, but still kept me intrigued! *SPOILERS* By Miss Opinionated I feel like I'm going to burn in the fiery pitts of hell for only giving this book 3 stars. Like, this is a legit concern for me, because I've rated all of Scarlett's previous King Hall books as solid 5's. I feel like I'm betraying myself on so many levels.... Trust me people. This actually pains me...... So, I'll list the things that I liked about the book, then I'll go over the things that I didn't like and then wrap it up with how, overall, I did like it.Ok, so the things I liked:Scarlett is an AMAZING author. Truly. She is talented and extremely gifted in her writing skills and I think we can all agree that this shines through in all of her books. It's self explanatory really. Her world building is off the chain, her characters are developed and NOT one dimensional. They have depth and form strong connections with the supporting leads which I love.I loved Caro and Sin's sense of humor. The one liners in this book kept my constantly laughing, and some of the scenes in this book had tears tolling down my face, and gave me stomach cramps from how much I laughed. I've said it before, and I will say it again, Scarlett, is an evil genius.You NEVER know what's going to happen. Honestly, there were a lot of times in the book where I thought I knew what was going to happen, but I was wrong. EVERY-TIME. This is more so a mixture of what I liked and didn't like, as you end this book with more questions than answers, which annoyed me a little but as it's only the first book, I can let it slide.The scene with Jack and Pearl. Ugh *swoon!* be still my beating heart! Even though this was a stolen memory from Jack, by Caro, it was so beautiful and I love love loved it. It was probably my fave thing from the book. So I feel like that's saying something when it's not about our lead, Caro. Which leads me too....Things I didn't like (don't hate me!)Caro, as a female lead.... I'm not sure if she and I are quite meshing just yet. I am honestly not sure what it is, but I can't decide if I like her or if I hate her. I fell in love with lily, the female lead in the previous King Hall books. Her and I were home girls! Sisters of the soul! So I thought the same thing would happen with Caro, but it didn't. Throughout the book, I just thought she was arrogant, disrespectful (I wanted to throttle her all the damn time) and immature. There were times where, yes, I thought we were finally getting on the same page and I would start liking her, but my overall opinion of her at the moment was.... I hate you. So I'm hoping this changes in the next books.I didn't like that there wasn't the same flow of connection with the prodigies in this book. I think my problem is that I'm comparing it too much to the first 3 books, but who wouldn't? In this book, the connections are all about Caro, Sin and Leric. The other prodigies.... We didn't even really get to know them that well! Which sucked, cos I think I would have really gotten to like Bran. His sense of humor for the brief time that we get to see him was awesome.Love interests. Is it just me or was everyone in love with Caro?? Ok, maybe not love but what the hell? First, it's Isa, then it's Bran, then it's Leric and then she has a weird thing going on with Sin and Elder Merric! That's too many damn love interests for my cookie jar and I was not on board with this! It was way too many and it left me feeling really iffy on the book.Las one, spirits. Like I said before, this book will leave you with more questions than answers but honestly... I just didn't get it. I felt like Spirits can do pretty much anything? They seem all together pretty powerful. More so than any of the other mysts. Caro, as a prodigie, seemed to be more powerful than all of the current kings and queens combined?? I thought the prodigie, and person next in line for king or queen went to the most powerful being of that faction, so I had a little bit of hard time understanding how Jack was the current king when Spirits were out and about. Their powers seem limitless?? It boggles my mind. Honestly.Overall, I did enjoy the book. It was a good read, and it still got my fix of all that there is of Scarlett Dawn. I'm hoping the next book will answer my questions more and give me a better understanding of Caro. Fingers crossed. Cos I love Scarlett, and I love the King Hall series.Would I recommend? Not sure, I'm conflictedDo I regret buying/reading it? NoAm I going to read the next instalment? He'll to the yes!X

I didn't want to put down this rediculously wonderful book!! I have been a fan since King Hall and not once have I been disappointed by what Ms. Dawn has written. I loved this introduction to the new prodigies and their characters. Can in just admit to being in love with Sin!! Oh my, so freaking much lol. God and Leric...whew...fanning my face from his hotness lol. I am curious as to where all these feelings she has for all these people are going to go...but I know where I want to see it go personally. I am thrilled to read the next installment and am so impatient right now waiting for it lol. Obviously I am rating it in at FIVE HEARTS and that is well deserved!♡♡♡♡♡

By StephPhillips I was given a copy of this book by the publisher for an honest review.This is the fourth book in the Forever Evermore series by Scarlett Dawn. I laughed throughout the whole book. This one is a tad different from the previous three. We are introduced to new characters this go'round and are quite entertained by the new Elemental Prodigy.In the beginning we are introduced to Caro believing her death is coming - imminent - she's being busted out of captivity and is met with the King of her Element. I was rolling in laughter in this next part. I swear this character is hilarious all through out this book. I can't wait to see what comes next for her. She's simply amazing.There's a ton of spoilers I could put in this review - but y'all know I don't like to do that to you. So here's the short end of the stick...lots of action going on in the front scenes and behind scenes. You'll need to remember past history of what's happened in previous books in this series as well as cultural backgrounds. Simply amazing this story. It's given me a book hangover for a MONTH! Gracious. I'm already anxiously awaiting for book five. There's trouble coming. Storms a brewing. Excitement is on the rise and Caro will be the center focus, I believe, for what's to come. She's an awesome character. Those she surrounds herself with are sketchy yet perfect fit for her and her type of Element.As I sometimes do, I messaged Scarlett on Facebook about this story. There was one part in particular I mentioned to her she said no one had caught on to yet. I'm curious if anyone else will?! Bring it on sleuths!! Scarlett's writing is phenomenal and I love everything I've ever read she's published. If you love to read Paranormal and you've not read this series. I highly recommend it.

The church is called to be the pillar and support of the truth (1Timothy 3:15), not the pillar and support of Evangelical celebrities.  Unfortunately, this plain and obvious truth has fallen on hard times within modern Evangelicalism.When the church becomes more enamored with popular individuals, or things that are deemed as "trendy," she enters into a dangerous flirtation with man-centered priorities.  The church is not called to imitate the world which demands that it have its various celebrities and idols(professional athletes, pop icons, movie-stars, internet-idols etc.).  Instead, she is called to a much different standard - the higher standard of exalting Christ and His authority alone (Solus Christus, Sola Scriptura).Modern Evangelicalism has a great need to be restored to the priorities of Solus Christus and Sola Scriptura.  The Reformers heralded these priorities for a very important reason - if Christ is not the church's first love and sole authority, then all is lost. While there is nothing inherently wrong with the idea of celebrating God's grace in the lives of godly individuals and their ministries, there is everything wrong with the idolatry of celebritism: the act of exalting men in away that diminishes the glory and sole authority of Jesus Christ.  It is important to recognize that the sin of worshipping the creature rather than the Creator is as natural to human nature as is breathing (Romans1:25).  In light of such human frailty, the church must mortify the temptation of heralding mere men above their station, whether by fear or fawning devotion. The two big takeaways for me were (1) we need to be very careful to guard against the pitfalls of celebrity Christianity, where teachers have massive influence simply because of great mass marketing (not necessarily sound teaching), and (2) the fear of God (the healthy kind) must be recaptured by local churches and must shape the way we worship and live. Sola Scriptura (Scripture alone) and Solo Christo (by Christ alone) must again become the bedrock of local churches. A hearty "Amen!" to that.

And once again we get to catch up on all the wonderful people of Dawson. As a butler, he's surrounded by those he loves. His boss, Joe Dwyer, is like the son he's never had, Joe's children like his grandchildren. He's never really wanted for anything but now, at his age, he'd like to get married, have someone to share the rest of his life with. Edwina Bradbury was extremely wealthy, has a mind of her own, and pretty much does what she wants. But she's lonely, all by herself in her big, old mansion with no one but her servants to talk to. Her cousins, the Samuel sisters, all made a life for themselves in Montana. At their urging she decides to pay them a visit and meet Randall, who's placed an ad in the paper for a mail order bride. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about this older couple and their love story. Filled with excitement, danger, and family fun, I couldn't put it down. Can't wait to see what the author has in store for her readers next time.

She brings caracters back and forth between the books and it is like meeting old friends. You get attach to all of them. You can read by itself but I will not recommend it. To fully enjoy it you must read the others ones. You will not regret starting to read that author. She is one of my favorite.

Linda is very talented and I am happy she shares her talent with her readers. She makes you fall in love with all the people in Dawson. You will not regret buying this book. Read the entire series and you will be glad you did. Patiently waiting for book 20. Linda you can not stop this series.

About the Author Victoria Hodge grew up reading Georgette Heyer and Jane Austen, and after re-reading her favourites dozens of times, it was probably inevitable that she would decide to write her own Regency romances.   While she happily and endlessly debates which screen version of Pride & Prejudice is the best [BBC 1995 starring Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth], her tastes are eclectic and range beyond the Regency era. She is both a proud Trekker and a devoted Cumberbitch.   After living in different cities around the world, including New York, Strasbourg, Firenze, and Chicago, Victoria now calls San Francisco home. She enjoys the fog, which inspires her fanciful muse by evoking old London. The chilly San Francisco summers are perfect to enjoy a scone with some hot tea and lemon (or limoncello).   A former consumer advocate, jewellery designer, and screenwriter, she now focuses on story-telling, and sees life as fiction fodder. It starts to drag toward the end and then things get wrapped up quickly while leaving lots of strands dangling.

I often read Regencies just for escape...and this author really delivered. I loved her characters and am hoping she will keep writing more about them... there are many lose ends that could be tied together in several more installments... I don't think I have ever gone thru this kind of withdrawal wondering about the different characters and what happened to them : ). Seriously, please write more and clear up those lose ends. This author writes as well as the more famous Regency Authors that have churned out a plethora of less delightful reads than these. I kind of understand people being grumpy about paying for each installment, but I found that I was so entertained, it would be worth more than ten dollars.

As a poor relation, Marjorie is expected to mend, run errands and eventually must chaperone her cousin during her London season.Captain Findlay has just become Lord Drake after the death of his uncle. His new position now requires him to seek a bride among the ton.Great start to the series with well-developed characters. Look forward to reading the next part.Clean Regency romance.

The author uses her life experience to help you define, see, and take charge of your life direction positively. I want to call this a step-by-step guide, but it's really not. More like meandering step guide with lots of information between steps to clarify.King does a nice job playing with your sense, drawing you in to want to read just a little bit more.There's lots for you to learn from this tale and I recommend if you are looking for solid life direction that you read this book. Well Done!

I loved that the author is speaking from experience and that make it more real and refreshing. The author used life experiences to help readers see how skills and determination have worked for her in her life. I loved the conversational tone of the book, it makes it flow easier and it just feels like your reading a story. An amazing book!

By Lilikins I definitely feel lost, "A life of pages waiting to be filled" - some in fact most of my friends' lives just seem to have clicked, whereas mine is just one failure to another with an increasing sense of despondency.So I purchased this book and right away started enjoying the chatty style and hearing the author's life story; strangely after the 24th page, I stopped reading and went and sent in an application for a job I really wanted - so something in this book had already motivated me to take action in a positive way even though I had previously felt negative. The author talks about God, which I rather like as even though I am not a committed Christian, I do believe in prayer and faith in one's purpose and destiny. I really liked the pump analogy the author describes - when you want something the surest way not to get it is to quit, so keep plugging away because you never know how close you are to success.Some very inspirational quotes in this book help focus your mind and are highly motivating. I have read many positive thinking books and I got the feeling that they almost advocated believing money grows on trees and pots of gold await at the end of the rainbow; this book is so down to earth and the author via the use of her own life story is able to inspire you to treat your life as an adventure where you never stop grabbing opportunities. I guess I see my life too much as a treadmill, I dare not get off and I think that mentality is my biggest barrier to happiness.A very enjoyable read; I gained a lot and plan to live my life with a far more 'open to possibilities' attitude.
