That being said placing author, Dean Murray in control of our thought processes, we may never settle for ordinary again. He takes us to places that are totally unbelievable and yet very realistic the way he explains it all.He teases us with a thought that good is not always the easiest way, but if we stay true to course, it will always prevail. I have read all of his books, and I have loved all of them. I hope you will take the opportunity to see why I am so in awe about this imaginative author.

At the end of Reborn Selene is fighting with Fenrir and she isn't sure if she is going to make it out alive or not, right before she blacks out she sees a figure (who she believes was Jace at first) stabbing Fenrir in the throat with a sword. However, that figure turns out to be Kyle, someone from her past who she does not remember at all, least alone having a relationship with and being married to. Once again Selene has to face several challenges externally and internally in order for her to make sense of her past life as an Awakened, but as well as understanding what her new role will be within the Awakened world.In Immortal we see Selene grow more as a person as she searches for answers to questions she has about who she was in the past as an Awakened. Just like in Reborn, Selene makes several mistakes along the way,but she isn't perfect and everything about being an Awakened is new to her, so she learns from her mistakes, which in the end makes her a more mature and stronger person than she was in Reborn.Dean has done it again, creating a wonderful and engaging story that takes you deeper into the Awakened world as Selene uncovers more pieces of the puzzle that was her past life. By kwing I received an ARC for free in exchange for my fair and honest review (but let's be honest, I would have purchased it even if I hadn't!)Immortal picks up right where Reborn left off and I was pleased that this second installment did not fall victim to spending a significant amount of time retelling the previous novel then blatantly moving the players around to set up for a cliffhanger that only serves to require the reader to follow the series through to the conclusion. Instead, the characters are provided depth and vibrancy while we watch them struggle with interesting philosophical and moral challenges that provide a greater understanding as to why they are making the decisions they make. Immortal is an amazing novel with exciting twists and turns and I can't help but second guess myself every time I decide who the "bad guys" are.I am wholly enthralled by the way Norse and Arthurian mythology are entwined and cannot wait to read the next installment!

The author spent time defining what people should consider is success, and strive to that, not what your parents, friends, or society decides it should be. He then gives ideas on how you can improve yourself by reassessing opinions, creating personal mission statements, and other bits of advice.While much of the advice is tidbits of information, they are all good advice.I especially like how at the end of chapters 2 and 3 he gives you exercises to help develop your critical thinking and build a mission statement.This is a nice little book to make little notes on your way to self improvement.

By D B Carlyle Sometimes I approach these books on personal success a bit skeptical about the actual message, and sometimes you find a book that gives you some good advice and leaves you thinking about what they say. This book I liked, finding myself agreeing with the author and feeling as if I had actually been give something worthwhile to consider. I especially liked his take on responsibility and apologizing - something that is poorly played out in our society today. On an individual level it is powerful and healing, a message that needs to be heard more and stronger all the time. Not a long read but effective, worth a read for anyone wanting a boost to their confidence and approach to life.

Riley This book on The Secrets to Manifesting Success is very interesting as it forces you to look deep within yourself. I love all the different exercises the author has in this book for you to try. My favorite exercise is “challenging an expert’s opinion” in which the key is not to let expert’s opinions persuade or intimidate you just because they are considered an expert.The author gives you great advice and resources to help you think outside the box making this book very powerful in my opinion. I thought this book was very well written and I highly recommend it!

Thereafter, it was largely forgotten on a national level, commemorated only in specific localities linked to the campaign. In post-war Turkey, by contrast, the memory of Gallipoli played an important role in the formation of a Turkish national identity, celebrating both the ordinary soldier and the genius of the republic's first president, Mustafa Kemal. The campaign served a similarly important formative role in both Australia and New Zealand, where it is commemorated annually on Anzac Day. For the southern Irish, meanwhile, the bitter memory of service for the King in a botched campaign was forgotten for decades. Shaped initially by the imperatives of war-time, and the needs of the grief-stricken and the bereft, the memory of Gallipoli has been re-made time and again over the last century. By lyndonbrecht This is not really a history of an epic battle. Rather, it is a history of the memory of the battle over the century since it took place, and compares the differing importance in differing countries whose soldiers fought there. It's minor in Ireland, because there is nothing to celebrate about an English defeat. It's minor in French memory because the French focus on the Western front. Although not covered, it seems to mean little in India (some of the "British" were soldiers from India). It's celebrated in Turkey both for the victory and because the founder of modern Turkey, Mustafa Kemal, was an important commander in the battle, and it's most important in Australia and slightly less so in New Zealand. The book considers the meaning of the battle; clearly ANZAC ( Australia-New Zealand Army Corps) Day predominates in the importance and intensity of observance.The intensity of observation is also important. Macleod discusses how the meaning of the day has changed over the years. One obvious change is that as veterans died, the celebration shifted from personal memory to the more abstract. She observes that military history is bound up in national stories. Irish soldiers at Gallipoli were part of another country's story (the civil war following World War 1 has something to do with that). The soldiers on both sides were multicultural. There was a 500 man Zion Mule Corps (Jewish). There were Ghurkas, soldiers from Ceylon. The French contingent included Foreign Legion troops, French, and Africans from French colonies. The British soldiers included Newfoundlanders from Canada. The Turkish troops included an Arab regiment, and some Jewish, Armenian, Kurdish and other soldiers.The book begins with an excellent summary of the battle before it starts discussion of the meaning of the battle in different nations. The discussion of the several national memories of the battle could strike some reader as tedious because it includes local politics, most intense in Australia. Australia's memory of the battle is tied up in some complicated understandings of what it means to be Australian. And says the author, Gallipoli is a pivotal moment in Australian nationalism but in New Zealand it is remembered more as sacrifice for England. I liked the overall discussion of national stories and memory. I'm not sure it fits, really, the concept of a Great Battle series.

By Ian Brown The author tells us that his family background was the FreeStaters (Boers) whereas mine were part of the British forces. I grew up with a received history that conveniently disregarded the facts that I found in this book. The book helps explain the bitterness felt by the Afrikaner people in the last century and also gives a background (definitely not a justification) to the policy of Apartheid that was written into the legislation from 1948 onwards. The lessons that the author draws from this apply to conflicts worldwide in the present time.I found that the book needed concentration by the reader but it was well worthy the effort.

You want to read this book a little at a time to absorb all that it contains. It gets you thinking about the Old Testament times and often in a new way. Very thought provoking while still written in an easy to read format. I am enjoying learning more about each of the OT characters in the lineage of Jesus. I recommend it.

He appeared to be a confident and strong dominant that a woman couldn't help but fall for. Very level headed and though all alpha, he was brave and ever so gentle and protective of his lady. He just knows what is needed for that particular moment. I liked how Natalie fell for him without all of the immature ideas so many of the authors are subjecting women to appear as in these stories. Natalie is independent but like most strong women, she likes to be cared for completely and intimately. Great book. I will be looking for more reads by this author. Must read the series!

This story is full of heat and will melt your panties. I like that she is strong yet she wants to be taken care of,she is confused. Kalen is dominant and wants Natalie to be submissive. A great read and can't wait for more.
