Sinfully sexy and tantalizing!!! That pretty much sums up my feelings when I was reading this book.Tempting Bad is a spin-off of the VIP trilogy and it chronicles the tale of Brooke, a VIP and Devon, a bar owner. In the previous books, we all got a taste of their distinct personalities. Did we really know them? Well, the answer to that is simple. Looks can be deceiving and behind their strong personalities, lies a facade. One is haunted by a past that continues to haunt his daily life. And one is blinded by hurt, anger, and sex when it comes to opening up her heart to LOVE. Can two broken people who comes from two different sides of the tracks mend their broken hearts and heal each other? They say LOVE can HEAL but is love enough to heal years of hurt and pain.I know there are readers who are on the fence when it comes to liking Devon. But let me just say, that I actually liked him from the beginning of the series and I was so happy that he finally got his chance to finally have his side of the story of explained. There are two sides to every story and Devon is finally given the chance to be transformed from the misunderstood friend to the hero. Devon's past is truly heart-wrenching and devastating. His past is what makes Devon the way he is now. His tormented past could of have closed off his heart but it didn't. It made him a MAN worthy to be loved and to love.Brooke, on the other-hand had a complete upbringing than Devon. Her wealthy upbringing and loving family was what every household envied. Loving parents, loving sisters, and a beautiful home. But behind the white picket fence, lies secrets. Secrets that would destroy Brooke once she learned of the truth. They say the truth can set you free but the truth only destroyed Brooke and left her an empty shell. The once happy Brooke who believed in love, fairy tales and prince charming is now left as a woman, who is cynical and doesn't believe in true love. Love is for the weak. Sex is for pleasure. And money and power are the only thing that matters. Or is it?When Devon meets Brooke for the first time, he is instantly drawn to the feisty blonde bombshell. With sexual tension buzzing between these two, can these two strong personalities get along in and outside of the bedroom. And the answer is YES!!! It's EXPLOSIVE!! In life we are all tempted to be bad and sometimes being bad can be justified when it comes to LOVE. When you truly love someone, sacrifices and compromises be made. And Brooke and Devon reminds us all that their LOVE is not PERFECT but their LOVE for each other is what TRULY MATTERS. This can be read as a stand alone or cm be combined with the series. But know matter how you read it be prepared for the panty melting story to wind you up and have you begging for you happy ending.Brooke grew up in the perfect house, with the perfect parents and had the perfect life that everyone wanted, until one day she found out it was the perfect act for all to see and not know any different. This day would forever change her life and way of thinking. Pushing away those closest to her until the day she runs to the one person she thought would be there, to find out she waited to long to go back.Devon never had the perfect life, his was far from it. From the outside all looked fine and dandy, but inside behind closed doors held its own truths. Devon made sure to protected those he loved and always put them before his needs. Devon has his own secrets that his family never talks about, even though he relieves the nightmare every time he goes to sleep.As the story unfold we see a small picture into both of there lives over the years and watch as they grow and develop into the roles their lives play. When they finally meet they are drawn to each other and can't find a way to stay away, both broken and hurt from their last, but together they find something in each other they didn't know they needed.Will they be able to find a way to make things work and be together or will their past be to much and drive them apart.M. Robinson has mad skills to make you love, hate and love her some more. She is able to write romance with the perfect amount of angst and erotic moments to drive the reader nuts but also make them need to read more. Tempting Bad is the first of her books that I have read and I am looking forward to diving in to more of her books soon.

This is a stand alone book or can be read as part of the VIP series (which I highly recommend). This is Brooke and Devon's stories. Both characters come from a broken home but in very different ways than you would expect. Ever the nice guy, always in control, Devon meets his match in Brooke. Brooke is a VIP, she controls everything and everyone in her life. She has money and a sort of fame, beauty and abundance but she doesn't have love, never love, love you can't control. Devon has been struggling his whole life, trying to save everyone, control everything and never realizing his own life is hanging in the balance. Their introduction is explosive, their courtship is explosive and in the end their love is explosive, all consuming and leaves a trail of tears and turmoil behind them. Will there be a way for them to find themselves, save themselves and maybe just maybe love one another in the end? The character development in this book is top notch. The explosive scenes make you feel every emotion until you aren't even sure if it's your own heart that's breaking. Oh and the sex, the dirty, raw, passionate, all encompassing sex is beautifully written right down to it's raunchiest moments. Truly an enjoyable read, grab it now, you won't regret it.
