The author's description of our elderly in numerous situations touched me in ways I have never been able to vocalize. I was able to visualize her description and felt like I was with her - living every moment. Her ability to describe not only her experience with patients but also a glimpse into her life was unexpected and I felt 'true empathy'. This helped me relate and understand some of the feelings and depression I had experienced when I lost my mother.A must-read for all. This is one book that will I will read over and over.

Bucket Just Do It - A young woman on a mission By Shirley page This delightful true story chronicling Diamond Allen's unwavering resolve to complete her beloved grandmother's bucket list after she loses her battle with cancer is a charming story filled with emotional ups and downs. Diamond's self-deprecating humour is conveyed throughout this enjoyable read. I found myself laughing out loud one minute and worried for her the next. Her grandmother would be very proud of her determination. I loved this book!

I love how when I'm reading the characters make me laugh out loud. This was such a great book, and I can't wait for the next one!!

This book had a fun premise with the heroine dressed as a bunny trying to change a flat tire on the side of the road and the hero driving by trying to figure out what he was seeing!!! I loved it! This author writes such good stories. Rafe is a great hero and I enjoyed getting to know him better. He was introduced in the first book in the series. Although he was more serious, his backstory told us why and I enjoyed how falling in love with Sadie made him a happier person! Sadie is somewhat of a runaway bride but she had a good reason! I also enjoyed her backstory! Seeing her as a "fish out of water" on the ranch was very fun! She was brought up in the city so knows nothing about ranch life but takes it on with her whole heart when Rafe gives her a chance to "heal her wounds" and think through some things! I hope others like this story as much as I did!

And he was glad to see his twin brother, Cliff, so happy and in love with Maddie. Rafe had a hard time believing his brother could fall in love so quickly, but he had. As for himself, the hurt from the past was a good reminder to stay away from love. Then there was the bunny incident and everything changed.Sadie Archer was running away. After a shock, she just got in her sports car and drove. Who knows how far she might have gone if not for the flat tire. And because of that flat tire she met a dreamy cowboy. Not that she was looking for a hunk, far from it.Something about Mule Hollow seems to breathe love into the air. Whether the Matchmaking Posse have their hands in it or not, love seems to happen. And the more a couple fights the idea...the quicker things seem to happen.

Melted swept me into its second-chance love story, and I couldn't help but root for Jennie Marts' wonderful character Emily Wells. Everyone goes through twists and turns in life, and Melted is a very inspiring read about how one woman opens her heart and seizes the opportunity that life offers her for a "do over". Of course, I'm always a sucker for a happy ending, so if you're looking for a feel good romance that is as warm and sweet as a mug of hot cocoa with whipped cream on top, this is the perfect short read for you.

Logan and Emily were the perfect mix of sexy chemistry and sweet romance. This novella had all the elements that make me a huge Jennie Marts fan. There was humor, great emotions and a swoon-worthy hero. Melted is a fantastic romance that will chase away the winter chill and keep you warm all year long.

This is one of the best short stories I have ever read. The writing flowed so beautifully and the characters were real and enticing. I just loved the second-chance love story and how I was drawn in to the story so quickly.I very much enjoyed that Logan was not a man whore but a genuine good guy. Emily was sweet and real and trying to just endure some very crappy circumstances.I need more.I want another story with these characters and this author. I am completely in awe. The Glencoe Cotton Mill and its village have a story very similar to that of other 19th- and 20th-century mill communities across the South. The mill operated from 1880 until 1954, and its employees lived in mill houses and shopped at the company store. After it closed, the community faded into vacant houses, rutted streets, and weed-covered properties. Unlike other mills, however, Glencoe found a spark of new life. People interested in its historyheaded by Graham resident Sarah Rhynejoined together to see the property declared a national historic site. Work reclaimed the mill and preserved it for the future. Preservation North Carolina helped, as did a number of individuals from the area, and life returned. Many of the mill houses have been purchased and restored and are now home to a new generation of residents. The Textile Heritage Museum occupies the old office-store building and, with its displays, shows the history of Glencoe and southern textiles in general.

By JJ Although some philosophy is better than none, particularly for theologians and pastors, this book just provides a very cursory overview of the subject and should be regarded as a "propaedeutic" to more rigorous study. From my point of view, many theologians and pastors would do better studying logic, the philosophy of language (and particularly religious language), as well as informal fallacies....
