So, this review seems like it is IMPOSSIBLE to write without spoilers, but I'm going to try.Let's start with how happy I am that Ms. Bond released this book, I've been waiting since I read the series in 2012, and she did NOT disappoint. Congratulations to her for getting this out there. I felt like I'd waited so long, that there was no way it could live up to my expectations, but it did. There were numerous plot twists that I didn't expect in regards to her father's return, in her relationship with Wes, and with 'the men' in her life. As a disclaimer, I have been Team Jack since book 1, and that didn't change in this one. I laughed out loud on numerous occasions, and happily shook my head at Carlotta's antics. I adore that she sticks her nose right into criminal investigations. I loved the introduction of a mysterious side character (and who knows, maybe he's obsolete in future books, but I liked it nonetheless).And here's where my review will get vague. I was at about 80% of the book and was thinking about how joyously happy I was with how it was all turning out. I did NOT miss Peter throughout this book, he can stay on the sidelines for all I care. AND THEN, it was ALL RIPPED AWAY FROM ME. Yeah, Stephanie, if you're reading this right now, you know why I'm cyber yelling at you. And I say that with all the love and respect in the world. I actually yelled the F word at my Kindle. But, *heavy sigh* this is what I should expect when a series will be a few more books until the end. But I'm not happy about it, lol. And Yes, I'm still easily giving this book 5 stars because of how viscerally I felt the ending. It's the sign of good writing when you have a physical reaction to something you just read.I wish I could hug her for finally getting this book out to her readers, who have patiently (and sometimes not so patiently) waited for this next installment. It probably feels so wonderful for her to get this monkey off her back. BUT, she better make this up to us by whipping book 8 out in like 6 months. I, for one, will be chomping at the bit for the next one.

Had the ending figured out after the pregnancy was brought up. Don't even care anymore which man she may choose. I once read eight books were planned in the series and I'm hoping she keeps to that quickly and not drag the series along with too many same old books.

My head is still spinning from all the plot twists.******************SPOILER ALERT********************Grrrr just when Carlotta FINALLY admits her true feelings for Jack a monkey wrench gets thrown in! I literally started cursing out my kindle! And finally some background information on Hannah! I NEVER seen it coming! I truly missed every single character in this series and am so happy (grinning like a loon as I write this review) that they are back. And begrudgingly I will even admit that I missed Peter. I have always been team Jack but after rereading the series im starting to lean towards Coop. My only complaint is that I keep waiting g for Carlotta to tell off Tracey and it still has not happened. Please please I beg you, just once can Carlotta not be the better woman and let that flake have it?!?!

We don't find out anything about her but he is seen as her pet. He saves an innocent girl and takes her home but is not welcome. This is a prequel to the Nightkind series it's a quick look at Nevins life.

I love the series and I cannot wait for High County Spring!Sheriff Joaquin Obregon has been living in a sanatorium for the last year recovering from a wound that has cost him so much. A year later, there is nothing wrong with him to the point where he needs to still be taking up a bed in the sanatorium. However, he is determined to sit around and do nothing but sulk. Since he has pushed away everyone who cares for him, he is all alone.Nurse Mary Margaret McCallahan aka Mae has had a tough life growing up alone in the slums, that is why she is hard working and dedicated. It took a lot to get where she is at in her career. She truly cares for her patients but doesn’t like to let her emotion show. Dr. Robinson tells her he wants her to take Mr. Obregon on a rest cure for a week and when she gets back, they will discuss a possible position for her at the hospital in Los Angeles. It’s the job she has wanted for so long.Joaquin, Mae and the orderly Shiney set off to go camping a week of rest. However, when they wake in the morning Shiney has taken off with one of their horses, so Joaquin and Mae have to find their way back to the sanatorium by walking. Due to Joaquin’s injury, he has trouble walking for a long amount of time. In the few days it takes for them to walk back Mae lets her guard down and Joaquin starts to see Mae as something more than before. As they start becoming drawn to each other they share a kiss, but where will that lead? Will Joaquin be able to overcome everything that has happened to him or will he stay in the sanatorium for the rest of his life? Will Mae get her position or will she change her mind and stay with Joaquin?

He has a deep resentment for what his life has become know, and he can’t seem to find a way to break free. That is until a nurse who has never liked him decides to make his her mission and turn his life around.Mary Margaret McCallahan or Mae as she likes to be known as has spent a childhood in the slums of New York, so now being a well respected nurse at one of the most famous sanatorium in all of California should be ambition enough. But Mae she has even grander dreams and these dreams require her to leave California for Los Angeles. But before she leaves, she is determined she has to rouse one of the most handsome, arrogant sheriff out of his own sick bed and back into the real world.Joaquin can not even imagine leaving yet. But Mae is set and determined to go. These battle lines are well drawn out and only love can win for the both of them.a very sweet short book which was a quick read for me but an enjoyable one.I really liked Mae she has so much gumption which i was drawn to and i liked very much.3 Out Of 5 Hearts From Cariad Books

By Slick Reads My 4.5 star review:I’ve really loved the Foreign Affairs series by these authors and Misplaced Hands is totally delish with vegemite on top or at least that’s what I assume the two (yes TWO) heroes in this book would tell you. Me, I’ve never had it nor have I had a Tim Tam although someday I hope to but I want to eat one on Australian soil…yep, totally on my bucket list after I get scuba certified so I can do the Great Barrier Reef in style! But enough about me, this book is about Chicago teacher, Harper Shaw who has traded places with her online friend for a two week life swap bringing her to an Australian station to teach the children and let her experience life on her terms.It’s hard not to like the wide eyed, inexperienced Harper. You just get the feeling this girl has been going through the motions of living life heading to her big brother’s wishes and dreaming of the life she’d really like to live. When she meets stockmen, Keith and Marc she begins to realize exactly what she wants but isn’t sure they are interested in helping her explore her sensual side.Despite being somewhat cocky, both Keith and Marc are easy to enjoy. It’s apparent they have a very close friendship and have each other’s backs no matter what. They also both discover they want Harper and for the first time ever, they realize they want to share this woman together.From the first moment they meet, the attraction between these three is more than apparent. I mean it drips off them and puddles on to the ground. What I love is that they don’t make a big deal about deciding to share this woman, Keith suggests it and Marc agrees pretty easily. The fact that they both enjoy watching the other pleasure Harper is testament to how much they want to give to her. When they are all three together, there’s no denying she is their top priority and man what any woman wouldn’t give to be their priority. But this book goes beyond attraction, an incident leave Harper reeling as it brings up something from her past she thought she’d put behind her and all three realize that they’ve developed some strong feelings in the short time they’ve been together.I flat out loved this book, yes it moves at a rapid pace and of course I always want MORE but the absolute sexiness of these three together were more than satisfying making Misplaced Hands a winner in my eyes!

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. A Great Ending to a Great Series By Kaylyn Davis Harper Shaw is a teacher who does a "life swap" with her friend Amy. She was a very fun character to read about. She took chances and was full of life and love. She had a bad childhood experience with her step father but she didn't let it overpower her life. I thought that was extremely admirable and brave.I felt like Marc & Keith were like the yin & yang. You couldn't have one without the other and it worked. Where one was a charmer the other was more strong and silent. When one was joking the other was more serious. Both were extremely protective of Harper and didn't push her into things she wasn't ready for.I love this series and I will admit I re-read the first three to prepare for the last book. It didn't disappoint me, at all. It was such a great read. The plot had a bit more depth than the previous three books. It brought up a very serious issue but it was handled with grace and seriousness. I fell in love all over again with the Australian stockman. Lol I loved hearing all the insults and slang. I hated Ronnie from the start. He just gave off this jerk vibe and you could tell he was up to no good. I didn't understand why anyone believed a word he said.I loved that one moment I was laughing and then the next I was fanning my cheeks. Of course it was Mari & Lexxie's writing, so you know the book was scorching! Every scene was hot and they never felt forced or dull. The only thing I didn't like was that it was a bit short. I wanted to learn more about the guys. I felt like if I knew just a tad bit more about them than it would have made it amazing. That being said if you haven't picked up this series, then now is the time because you will want your own stockman!!

Richards An enjoyable read for the most part, it's quick and sexy with some good hot ménage scenes (no m/m contact), and I liked both heroes very much. I always love an Aussie hero, and who doesn't love manly Aussie cowboys in particular? The accent, the cowboy attitude, the rugged demeanor, it was all sexy, and I only wish there had been more time with these guys, seeing them romance the heroine. I enjoyed the whole adventure/life swap thing, and I enjoyed the Yank out of her place and falling for these two hotties in the Outback. I wish there'd been more time together, and I was disappointed in the ending. Just felt a little rushed, it kind of tapered off and left me wanting more, and was pretty low on the romance, in my opinion.I wanted more spoken feelings, and I was let down there was no epilogue. For all the couples in the series, I think this threesome needed an epilogue most of all. They have the most to work out, how to make sure a three-sided relationship will go the distance, and I wanted to see them in the future somehow, maybe like six months or a year later. Also, an epilogue here could've caught up the other series couples as well.Overall, an enjoyable read with some good things going for it and has a lot of good sexiness to it.

Mirwald Nearly two years ago, while researching my own family tree in the Randolph, New York area, I came across a link to Tim Lake. He was working on his family tree also and some of his family came from the Napoli, New York area, just a few miles from Randolph.He was gathering information on an airplane crash which occurred in 1951 in the foothills of the Allegany Mountains just over the ridge from his relatives.I was intrigued to hear that he had put this information into a book-"Hang On and Fly" and I have now read the Kindle version and have ordered the book in hardcover.It is obvious that Mr. Lake has done an extensive job in researching and editing this book.Although the story gives a detailed account of this particular accident and of the difficult and sometimes tragic development of the passenger airline industry, it does not read like a history book. Rather it flows like a novel-the description of the key people involved-the flight crew, survivors, and the people living around the crash scene, is so well done that it leaves the reader feeling that he actually knew the people. The reader begins to appreciate the fear, pain and terror of spending two and a half days in freezing rain on top of a mountain not knowing when, or if, help will arrive.While anyone from or living in the Western New York area would find this book fascinating, I know that anyone who fly's or is curious as to how flight safety has evolved will be equally captivated.A very enjoyable and moving account of a difficult yet important subject. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Amazing aircraft disasters in early 50's well chronicled. By bobchar I seldom read non-fiction books but was given this as a gift. I am glad I was because I found it to be very good and kept my interest throughout. It seems unbelievable that the events could occur. One wonders what might have happened to aviation if our 24 hour news/TV had been in existence in 1951/52. It certainly would have set it back for a long time. I have flown all over the world many times since then and never worried about safety but might have been a little concerned if I had known the terrible history of those early years. A very readable book......good to the end.

It's a story that was all but forgotten, and one that is finally being told in detail. Tim Lake tells the story of this plane crash in journalistic style, making it easy to picture just what happened and how it happened. Well-researched and well-documented look at this crash and other air accidents and how they affect the way we fly to this very day.

By Bill Murray This is a great book to keep on your kindle and browse through from time to time when you're feeling under pressure. The introduction goes into detail about the ins and outs of stress and why it's not all bad for you. This opening section really sets up the rest of the book and makes it very easy to understand. The great thing about the second part of the book is that you can just dip in and out of the stress-relieving exercises and try as many or as few as you like. There are around 80 to try so you won't find yourself endlessly repeating the same exercises. We all see stress tips and the like on the internet but never remember to bookmark the page or really pay attention to the details of the article. That's why I bought this book - all the information is nicely tied together in one place.

While some of us have better tools for dealing with it than others, it still exists and I'm always looking for better ways to combat stress when it comes up for me. This is where Graham Alexander's book "Stress Destroyers" excels. This is a fantastic book that has over eighty different methods for dealing with stress. A few of these I have heard of, and practiced, before but many of them I have not and am finding such relief and solace in some of these novel ideas. Really great stuff here.

This is a very powerful guide which is simply so effective and practicing the methods, I am benefited. For leading our modern life, the guidelines and techniques are very useful.One can easily say goodbye to the negative effects of stress by following this guide. How to remove stress, this book disclosed more than eighty methods. Graham Alexander wrote this book so nicely, which is easy to understand. I must recommend "Stress Destroyers" to get rid off from stress.
