The seven tips the author covers are to the point and not sugar coated. I got a lot out the communications and money chapters - both areas that have impeded my relationships in the past.

Meh By Bbreviews For a book on being charismatic, the writing was stilted, awkward and left a lot to be desired.As an introvert, I struggle with being socially awkward and never knowing what to say. While this book did a great job defining certain aspects of a charismatic personality and did have a few exercises to develop these skills, I was disappointed in the overall delivery of the book. I was hoping that the writing style would echo the message in the book.

By I.iihli Storico a tutto tondo, pur con un periodo coraggioso, quello degli anni infuocati della prima Guerra Mondiale e della Rivoluzione Russa. Il romanzo ha inizio nel Friuli in trincea e si dipana nella Svizzera neutrale e infine della Russia in fermento, sino al giorno della presa del Palazzo d'Inverno. Questo il panorama. Protagonista occulto è Lenin, capo bolscevico dalle mille contraddizioni, sostenuto da chi osteggia e destinato al trionfo. Protagonisti della storia d'amore che si intreccia con le dinamiche politiche, un uomo deciso e nobile, spia del potere in ascesa e una giovane donna che il destino mette a dura prova con dolore e lutti familiari. L'amore muterà le decisioni di entrambi rendendoli fedeli eppure traditori di un'ideologia che alla fine sarà loro estranea. Scelte decisive, rimpianti e nostalgia avvolgono Maria (la stella d'oro); il ghiaccio di decisioni insostenibili invece si spezza nel cuore di Fajzra, principe siberiano senza paura e misterioso.

Barbara Risoli non delude mai, la sua scrittura luida e piacevole rende la lettura delle sue opere una bella esperienza. You see Cash Mason Parker was a classmate of police Chief Carl Carter’s daughter, Olivia. For some unknown reason he had a beef with Mason, as he goes by now, to beat all beefs. On this life changing night it was a few months after Olivia went to a party with Seth’s sister for the soul purpose of getting drunk. You see it was right after her mom passed away and she was to numb out the pain she was feeling. Her dad had pulled into his own shell forgetting that she too had lost someone, her friends didn’t know what to say and she was too scared to ask for help for fear of breaking down and losing it. Something awful happened that night but all Olivia can remember, no matter how hard she tries is a dark shadow looming over her before she passes out. She hears the awful news that Mason and his friends had been arrested for burning down the police station and damaging 2 homes behind it. Almost injuring a family that was inside. Olivia read the report she couldn’t believe it. She went to the trial they all were sent to the Butler Field Juvenile Correctional Facility. Her heart just broke. Now all these years later Olivia was fulfilling the dream she and her mom talked about endlessly for hours on end. Opening the “Forever Wedding Design Shop.” Where she makes beautiful creations that brides can wear on their special day. She used what was at her finger tips to get the word out, multi-media. When she was interviewed one day she created a mystery multi-millionaire boyfriend, actually using Cash as the man of her dreams to be that person especially since now he really did make something of himself and was a millionaire. Even though she’d day dreamt about him she knew he was only a fantasy. Well, her shop that was barely making it was all a buzz now over her little white lie. Only now it was “A-listers” calling to make appointments for her designs. Which put that same multi-media on the hunt for her boyfriend that she really didn’t have, but no one knew that except her business partner. Leaving some to think it was all a hoax. That’s exactly what Mason was counting on. So, he thought what better way to get revenge and get the property where the juvenile facility was. So, not even talking to her he called a press conference and told the world he was the multi-millionaire that she is dating. She was caught off guard when he came to the shop to tell her and the sparks started flying. What makes her the maddest is that she had him in mind when creating this fictional person. I loved the bantering in this story. The two main characters are just still two horny teenagers who never got to do anything about it. Now they are just now trying to play grown-ups with control. Which makes for some funny scenes. Yet, there’s a dark secret that can tear them apart. At the center is Olivia’s father. Olivia is torn between two men she loves. What can she do to make this right? By Splashes Into Books Wrongly accused and convicted of arson as a teenager, Mason and his three friends were sent to a juvenile detention centre. Only three of them survived as one was killed by the guards who were supposed to be looking after them. Now the three are free, they’ve worked hard and Mason is now a millionaire but they still want vengeance for their dead friend.Olivia is the police chief’s daughter and Mason was with her when the arsonists struck. Why did she never speak up in his defence? He always liked her and can’t understand why she never told her Dad the truth. She runs Forever and, in a recent media interview, described her handsome millionaire boyfriend. The problem is he doesn’t really exist but the publicity has been superb for business and now she needs to produce him. This gives Mason the opportunity to make her pay for not speaking up for him but the chemistry between them has always been volatile. Can he get revenge without falling in love with her?This is another totally engaging story from a great author. The characters are well rounded and it easy to empathise with them as they embark on their journey towards their HEA on a route fraught with obstacles and emotional turmoil. It is a great read!Thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley, too, for letting me read this book in exchange for an honest review.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. The Millionaire's Forever By Jasmyn9 There were a few things I really loved about this one, and a few things I'd have rather done without. I'm never a big fan of lies, but since this one was just about the relationship to stranger instead of to the people in the relationship, it didn't bother me. It was actually a clever way to drum up business for Olivia, she just didn't think far enough ahead for a way out. This is something that Mason was quick to take advantage of.Mason's reasons for a pretend relationship are much different that Olivia's. Mason is out for revenge - and after hearing his story I totally get why. But Olivia gets caught in the crossfire and he doesn't seem to want to see that. He hurts her a lot by the way he acts, and that made it difficult to like him a whole lot. On the other hand, he really was a good guy that had his outlook on things warped by some bad people.The way some of the issues were resolved (I can't say too much or I risk ruining some things) just didn't seem to feel right. Too much was still left undone or unsaid. While the relationship definitely wrapped up nicely in a bow, the side events that caused all the conflict just didn't give me any real sense of resolution with them*This book was received in exchange for an honest review*

He was a dear friend of our family for years. He never let me know how decorated he was. He was just what the book portrayed. A giant of a man who did not brag about his accomplishments. I know of no other person who won 5 Distinguish Flying Crosses.
