She has a sweet tooth but resist the urge to stop at the bakery. Her thoughts wonder to the newest resident Coldwater Springs. And what a distraction he could be literally, it happened so quick so fast she was headed to the boutique ,her mind elsewhere she nearly takes a tumble when strong hands brace her and helping her to her feet. With the mishap averted, she can't help but think how beautiful her rescuer is. A zing of awareness thrums through her body at the contact(the man is beyond sexy). Will her insecurities get in the way? Mikhail Stepanov, young,handsome and is a chiseled Russian god. New to Coldwater Springs he is a horse trainer. He is so attracted to the woman he just rescued. Her soft curvy body is warm and inviting and her CURVES beckoning him. She has curves in all the right places. And he wants more of her delectable body- does she feel the same way? Can a naughty horse bring two people together? Some hanky panty and some training are in order. Jenn Roseton has us revisiting Coldwater Springs, it's coming home. Gave the book 5 stars for the writing and originality. A Russian in Coldwater, what is next? Was given an ARC for an honest review,however purchased the book because I'm never disappointed with Jenn Roseton! Always a pleasure.

I love her books the simplicity of each book is refreshing, especially after reading books where you want to bitch slap the main character. The only draw back is that the stories are short.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Love me some Russian! By Snowbunny1977 Mikhail was really exceptionally sweet. He's a great guy...ohhh and he's Russian with a sexy accent! I love this freakin series all of em. I've read them a lot. LOL. Amber's kinda shy and a little insecure about her looks. She likes him instantly but doesn't want to look more into it than there is. She's hopeful but doubts herself. After dating awhile and only having hot kisses Amber has doubts that he's into her as much as shes into him. Mikhail wants to go slow and not rush her but she's been ready for awhile to take the next level with him. :) Which he tells her when she gets hurt in the woods and calls her darling in Russian...*sighs*. So sweet and romantic. Great story with a fabulous ending! These are kinda short but great reads. I will say compared to the others of Cold Water Springs books this Mikhair was written a bit too perfect. LOL. I know....but still he's gotta have some flaws right?

About the Author Who is Curt Thomas? In a few words, Curt was often times referred as the least likely to succeed. Most times Curt was misunderstood and is judged. Curt would allow those negative words to influence his thoughts and path to success. Countless times Curt thought of quitting his desires to succeed and just give up on life. However, it was during Curt’s lowest moments in life that he began to develop strategies to bounce back from failure to success. Curt went from failing the 9th grade to graduating on time with the rest of his classmates at Manning High School. Curt thought about quitting Basic Training for the Air Force because his father nearly lost his life due to a car accident but he did not quit. Curt went on to graduating Basic Training and served honorably 4 years while obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education from Carolina Bible Institute (magna cum laude) and pledged Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Curt failed the police academy twice while working at a local police department. However, Curt’s dream was to be a South Carolina State Trooper. Even with the two prior failed attempts on the local level, he applied on the state level and graduated the toughest law enforcement training that the South Carolina has to offer. However, during this tough time in his life, Curt redeveloped powerful leadership skills and personal growth development strategies that cause him to bounce back in all areas. Curt went from almost being separated from the Air Force to being awarded the Airmen of the Year for the entire base. Curt’s strategy helped him be selected as their lead character of two commercials and travel the country with a university football team and escort professional golfers in the PGA. Curt has recently resigned from the South Carolina Highway Patrol as a State Trooper to pursue being a full time speaker. Today, Curt serves the country as a Reservist in the United States Air Force. Curt is an entrepreneur and is the owner of Curt Thomas Unlimited, LLC. Curt is an author and also a graduate of Buckley’s School of Public Speaking. Sicily was a cultural melting pot in the thirteenth century and Frederick ended up speaking several languages. He protected Jews and Muslims in his realms and prosecuted Christian heretics throughout his thirty-year reign. Frederick was married three times, and had four legitimate and eleven illegitimate children. He was a polymath with interests ranging from sculpture, architecture, and poetry to mathematics and science in many forms, earning him admiration from his contemporaries who called him Stupor mundi, “Wonder of the World.” His lifelong interest in hunting with birds of prey led to the writing of the classic work De Arte Venandi cum Avibus (The Art of Falconry), which is still in print. Really basic By Amazon Customer I don't want to be too hard on Richard Bressler, it says right on the book jacket that he is a financial professional and you can tell that this was a labor of love, but I have to be perfectly honest and say that you probably shouldn't waste your money on this book. It is based mainly on secondary sources (i.e. books written by other historians, not documents from Frederick II's time), so it basically feels like a big book report about every book he's read about Frederick II. I started this book knowing only as much about Frederick II and his time as I had heard in general Western Civ classes, and finished it knowing only a tiny bit more.

I heartily recommend a used copy of Masson's book--Great value By diogenes Pales in comparison to Georgina Masson's biography of FriedrichThe advertising review stated that the author had spent his workinglife as an accountant which possibly explains the lack of styleHis review of the extensive literary sources was limited andsuperficial. Why did he write it??I bought it because of the relatively low price.I heartily recommend a used copy of Masson's book--Great value!!!!

Review I absolutely LOVED this story. There is a kind of preface before the dedication where the author explains where she got the story. I had to go back and reread it once I had finished "Unlike Any Other". I think she did a fantastic job meeting her goal.This is an incredible love story (stories)...a beautiful depth and complexity that you don't run into frequently. I am so pleased to see this is the first book of a planned 5 book series...the only disappointing part is going to be the wait for the next installment.Planned sequels will highlight the other characters we spent time with.

It crept up on me: this story, this family, these characters wormed their way into my heart.At first, I wasn't sure this book was for me, the book starts in AJ's (Ainsley Janine) POV and I could feel how numb, how devoid of emotion she was. It bothered me because I didn't know if I'd be able to connect to her. But this all changed at about the 7-8% mark when she meets with Gabriel (Gabe), her father, and the story shifts to a dual POV: AJs and Gabe's. Again, this threw me for a loop because how was a daughter/father story going to work? This was supposed to be a romance, right?Ms. Burgoa does a brilliant job in creating such an original story in bringing it to like in a very unique yet poignant way. This was an emotional read yet so relatable even though the story revolves around a celebrity’s life because it’s about family and the relationships and dynamics which we can all relate to. The plot hangs on the concept of time, that weaves through our lives, our memories, emotions and even the mundane. Yet, it’s not chronological, Ms. Burgoa takes us from past to present and back in a storytelling fashion that’s captivating. Time weaves the threads of these lives and it gets messy but it also makes sense. I ended up loving AJ and fully understanding why she was the way she was and I just adore the entire Colhurst-Decker family. There are such complex, beautiful and flawed characters and even some characters that I have a hard time liking although I feel for them. But all of it was just moving.I highly recommend this gem! There's love, laughter, loyalty, lies, secrets, friendship, heartbreak, family and also hope. I'm so glad there is more of the Colthurst-Decker clan and I'm so looking forward to Mason's story, Unsurprisingly Complicated. Thank goodness, I don't have to wait too long.

By Jen Valencia Unlike Any Other is the first book in the Unexpected series by Claudia Burgoa and one that I enjoyed quite a great deal. I do wish that I hadn't seen this book categorized as a specific kind of romance on Amazon because then the reveal would have unfolded as a surprising twist rather than as an already known fact. The entire book isn't just about the romance but it is the focal point and one that sets the foundation for everything else that happens to the characters, especially the lead female, Ainsley Janine "AJ" Colthurst.At its very core, this was a story about a family struggling to regain its roots and its balance, especially after daughter AJ, the only girl among the triplets, makes certain accusations regarding how they were raised toward her parents and then leaves and doesn't return for three years. Her sudden return is brought about by a news item regarding her father and that he is no longer a bachelor and is about to be a father; ironic since he already has three grown children and has been married for quite some time now.I've always felt that the first book in a series is successful if it does two things: 1. Tells a great story and has memorable characters, and 2. Piques the reader's interest regarding the other characters in order to want to read future installments. Unlike Any Other most certainly did both and now I'm itching to find out what happens to the rest of the characters. This was such an unexpectedly (pun not intended!) addictive read and had I not known the twist going in, I would have given it a perfect five-star rating. It gets 4.5 stars! ♥

A short, hot, unexpected romance By DR The hero was a big time producer in addition to being a billionaire and the owner of the hottest restaurant in town. The heroine is a BBW wanna-be actress. The way they meet is quite funny. It was unexpected. I really liked the main characters. This was really short and hot.
