Devil was absolutely delicious with his strong alpha tendencies that surrounded his very vulnerable heart. Jess was perfect for Devil because she was strong in her own right, very independent and wasn't going to let anyone walk over her, including Devil.Jess can't believe that she's going to offer sexual favors to the man she believes kidnapped the student she mentors. She just wasn't expecting Devil to get involved. Having Devil around makes everything more complicated because she can't seem to stop wanting him no matter how hard she tries. But with her student missing and people trying to kidnap her as well, she needs all the help she can get.Along with the help of the Hades Squad, Jess and Devil work to find out who's behind her student's disappearance and the threats on Jess's life. Devil, however, is working on another mission: to keep Jess in his bed...permanently.This was an intense ride from start to finish. From word one, I fell right into this book and couldn't wait to see what happened next. Seeing the final page made me sad but also excited that I had found a new author to lovingly stalk. There was some pretty hot sex scenes in this book, but mostly they just added some spice to an already explosive relationship outside of the bedroom. I loved how much Jess tried to fight Devil's dominance in bed, but it was obvious she really enjoyed it as much as he did. It didn't matter if they were vanilla or not, Jess and Devil were great together. I think having avoided each other for so long, they were just explosive when they finally got together. Overall, this book had me going from beginning to end. With tons of action, a suspenseful plot and plenty of steamy heat between the hero and heroine, deviant devil was a pretty fantastic read.

I swear each new Hades Squad book gets hotter and hotter, if Demon Seed is as little as one degree hotter than Deviant Devil my e-reader will become a victim of spontaneous combustion.Devil is obsessed with Jess, but not the creepy hide in the bushes with a panty cam obsessed. He is obsessed because his heart, soul and the DOM in him need her to breathe. Jess THINKS she is frigid, she honestly does not like sex. Ever since she danced with Devil at Sinner and Destiny's wedding she can't get him off her mind, even though she knows she could never be with him because of his deviant sexual nature. Devil avoids Jess because he knows she is too innocent for his dark desires UNTIL he finds her in a BDSM club, when he sees her he knows she will be HIS.Devil is the type of ALPHA I dream about, a man who wants a woman more than his next breath, who will go to any measure to make sure she is happy. His obsession with Jess could've come off creepy, but it didn't, Ms. Carlo wrote Devil's emotions and thoughts so clear, so deep that I felt myself catching my breath reading them. Jess was such an innocent, no not a virgin, but a woman who repressed her desires because of the way she was raised and prior relationships, a heroine I think many of us could relate to. I loved Jess' evolution from scared little mouse to vampy vixen. The smexin' is hot, dirty and raw, did I say HOT?Ahhh the rest of HADES Squad, how nice it was to see you again. Sinner, Lucifer, Satan and Demon, all sexy retired SEALS, you can feel the testosterone jumping off the pages. Demon, I. WANT. HIM. (I will be reading his book as soon as I finish this review).The relationships between Devil, Jess and the rest of the HADES squad are fun to read, I love the sarcastic banter between all of them. Jess never gives Demon a break, she's always bustin' his balls about something and he doesn't know how to fight back. Which makes the ending even sweeter (when you read it and you will know exactly what I'm talking about).As great and smokin' hot as the sex is, and there was a lot of it, Deviant Devil also has a suspense storyline that kept me trying to figure out who the bad guys were. On top of the hot sex and suspense, there are some very emotional confessions between Devil and Jess, which just solidify how perfect they are for each other.This is book three in the Hades Squad series, I wouldn't say you have to read them in order, but you will want to read A Paratrooper in a Pear Tree (bk 1) and Lucifer's Choice (bk 2) to find out more about the sexy Sinner and Lucifer.

I love this series and Devil & Jessica are a truely beautiful couple. The interaction between the two was unbelievable. The story was very well written and believable in these modern times, it flowed really well and the way the story was told made it a joy to read.The love scenes between Devil & Jess were very well done and did not go on for too long. The way Jess's feelings for Devil unfolded was beautifully written.Ms Carlo is to be congratulated on another wonderful read. I have nearly all her books and I have enjoyed them all.LynnieP
