About the Author Murray Hill spent 10 year in the Royal New Zealand Armoured Corps, and Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment and after some years he went back to school to avoid hard work and now is a qualified teacher with an MA in History. His particular area of interest is ancient military history, particularly Imperial Rome. For over a decade he has run an Ancient and Medieval Artillery Research Group, attending events and delivering talks and demonstrations about catapults.

Definitely not for catapult prudes or folks that can’t stand a good belly laugh mixed in with their scholarship By Sarah Watts Murray brings enough humor to the subject of ancient catapults, I found it hard to tell the difference between laughing and learning.
