0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A must read when traveling in California! By Joe Zeigler This is a lovely book authored with a tremendous amount of work and the love of doing it. After numerous trips to California I am astounded to discover how much I missed from Wyatt Earp's home to the Mountain of Silver (The Lost Gunsight Mine). There is even a section on Historic Oases. The photography is outstanding with many in color. And, the writing is articulate, witty, educational, and entertaining. If you are planning to spend any time in California this is a must read. But, even if you aren't in California it is still a fun book and you'll be inspired to visit.Curiosities of the California Desert:
