8 of 9 people found the following review helpful. An absolute horrendous train wreck... By MB I hate to be that harsh, but I have to be. The first book was amazing, the second was frustrating, and the third was awful.After the second book, I didn't want to continue, but I had to know what happened. After a while, I stopped caring what would happen.Scarlett gets more and more infuriating as the series continues. She doesn't grow as a person. She gets more and more immature. I am not understanding how she completely blames Michael for everything, when she lied to him and goaded him into cheating. She never explains herself or apologizes. Michael grovels at her feet, as though he's the only one messed up. They both messed up, and she sits on some high horse acting like she did no wrong. It's terribly frustrating.I lost all hope for a happy end, because the characters became so dysfunctional that I stopped hoping for a happy end. They will surely be miserable.The premise of the series is unique and intriguing and pulls you in. The follow-through absolutely sucks.

By athenia I couldn't even finish the book after she slept with the other guy, she was such a bitch and I was completely disappointed. I lost all respect for her character and did not even have the desire to read the rest, even knowing they would end up together in the end. Scarlett was way more dishonest and hurtful because she consciously knew what she was doing and Michael never really intentionally hurt Scarlet. Even after he repeatedly explained to her why he did what he did and who the blonde was (his cousin) she still went home with the other guy who she had no feelings for but claimed to be in love with another Michael. I call that heartless and gutless ugh I was just all around disappointing.

I had no idea what to expect, but was definitely not disappointed with the finale.The book has a lot of plot twists and unexpected plot points, which even makes it suspenseful at times. I felt both joy and sadness for the protagonist, Scarlett, as she got entangled into more and more webs of drama and decisions.Overall, the book had a flow to it which made the reading extremely easy, and I finished it in 3 days. The characters all seem real, which makes you want to relate to them even more.Overall, a really good read, would definitely recommend.
