Wonderful story, need more of the Caldwell family By T London This was truly an occasion where a review request from an author I had never heard of before paid off. Not only did I experience a great story, I found an author that went to the top of my list titled, Authors I have to follow. I was blown away with this story; it started so innocent and ordinary and quickly sucked me into a world of true love, intensity and suspense.Sloane took the advice of her best friend and bought a used book store located in a small town, leaving the life of a big city and a past that she would like to forget. Rolling into the small town was supposed to bring comfort and peace but that was going to be difficult when the law man Creed enters her world. Finding an adorable little girl Cassie to talk to one afternoon was the first step in falling for Creed and his Caldwell gang.Creed was raising his daughter alone, protecting the citizens of this small town and grieving over the loss he had experienced in his family. His brothers and sister were all supportive to him and his sister just happened to be the best friend of Sloane. His sister knew of the abuse that Sloane was trying to recover from but Creed found out the hard way when he realized his rough tone of voice and Alpha behavior might not be what Sloane needs.The story between the two unfolded rather quickly at first and I wasn’t sure how the author was going to carry their love throughout the rest of the book but she found an epic way by using suspense. Sloane began finding threatening things outside her door, then in her apartment and soon she was forced to decide if having Creed and Cassie in her life was a good idea. The author totally blindsided me with the conclusion to this book, I had predicted so many things that I was sure of and none of them were even close to the truth.I found I became invested in the characters from chapter one due to her brilliant style of letting us get to know and feel Sloane and Creeds emotions and fears. She exposed their dreams and hopes to us in a way that made us want them to succeed. Cassie was adorable and made the story even more epic. By the end of the book I couldn’t even focus on how wrong my predictions were because the suspense and raw emotions took over. I could not put this book down and the roller coaster she took us on was amazing. I will be reading more of Dawn Sullivan’s books soon. I can honestly say I am very grateful for this review request because I have not only found an author I love; I can hardly wait to read more about the Caldwell family. Each one has a special place in my heart now.

His relationship with Cassie’s mother went sour and he stopped her from doing something devastating. Even though he gained his most precious possession through that failed relationship, he also has developed serious trust issues.When Creed and Sloan first meet, there is an instant attraction to one another. They both find themselves breaking down the walls they’ve placed to protect their hearts. When it seems that Sloane’s life is in danger, will she let go of the independence she’s fought so hard to gain and actually let Creed protect her or will her pride cause her more trouble? Will these two ever find the happiness they both need or will they be taken away from one another and be left hurting in the destruction?There is love and some serious steam in this book, but there is also mystery. I was trying to figure out who was responsible for all the destruction Sloane and Creed were facing. I just couldn’t put my finger on who it could be and when I found out…..WOW!!!! This book is the first in the series and I am excited to read the next books in the series. I am a sucker for a good cowboy and Dawn Sullivan writes some of the best!!

By Myra Espino (Ms. Me28) Tempting His Heart, another amazing read from Dawn.From the start up to the last, I was hooked,The story and characters are great.All f them are easy to relate with and like.The characters, Sloane and Creed are amazing.These two made me fall in love.Sloane, with her past she haven't dated for years.But when she met Creed and his daughter, things changed for her.Creed, the sheriff with a not pleasant past with the mother of his daughter.And with that. He's not much into going deep with other women. But when she saw Sloane, he knew things would never be the same again.The story, it's amazing! Loved it!With the things that going on with each other and the family matters in Creed's, things got more interesting.This book completely blew me away.Everything is good and I felt everything about it (the story and the characters' emotions).Ms. Dawn nailed it!Can't wait for more of the characters in Serenity Spring series!
