19 of 21 people found the following review helpful. Bear-ever Yours By The Book Chick I love shifter stories and wanted to enjoy this, too. Unfortunately, the plot of the story and the dialogue between the characters totally missed the mark. The main characters loved the word "gosh" and when the hero told the villain if he used a "gross word" again I had to wonder if I was reading a shifter version of Sweet Valley High. The 'villain' was also the most anti-villain I've ever read. The scene that should have culminated in a fight scene between bear shifters left him running away like a little girl. He even signed an agreement that he wouldn't bother the heroine again. Really? An agreement?!? *Sigh* It was just so terribly anticlimactic. For me this was a definite miss but other readers may not be at all bothered by them.

However there's absolutely nothing new or original in this shifter romance. You could take any previous book, change the names and setting, and it would be identical. The plot is entirely predictable. There are three couples and I'm guessing the next books deal with couples two and three.The proofreading is sloppy: an for a, a missing quote mark, off for of, their's for theirs, a comma outside a quote mark, brother in laws for brothers in law. Also the female character in chapter 10 says "I love you" to the male, but a few pages later says "I think I love you."

She captures the readers and keeps them entertained throughout. I definitely like the fact she write IR and does a great job at it! Keep them coming.
