I listened to the audiobook version while travelling. Perfect travel companion book! Sex and The City but smarter. Cheryl Sandberg but more genuine. Eat Pray Love without losing sight of reality. I was able to reflect and appreciate my own experiences, from travel to relationships, and laugh at some of the more imperfect moments through the author's entertaining anecdotes - so many little gems. What a fun read!

It's often a wonder how, when driven off the life course planned, women can and probably should pack up the pieces and hit the road. But instead of coming across as highfalutin, this story was real, it was conversational and it took me into her mind and travels in an easygoing tone. I'm curious to see where the author will find herself once she reaches her final destination.

I immediately connected with the story from start to finish. Throughout the memoir, I could not help but to admire Ko's innate ability to say the things that most never have the courage to say. Bravo for her fortitude and strength... and inviting us all to join in on her journey of self-exploration!
