Review "I'm so in love with these cowboys and cowgirls ... each book in the series is a charming love story under the big skies of Montana ..." - Alima Livzletlivz, Goodreads "I like this author who builds the emotional connection between the characters as strongly as the physical connection. And I especially liked this book." - PSusan, Amazon "A sweet romance that tugs at your heartstrings; "His Outback Cowgirl" is not just about romance. It's also about familial love.´- Mari Davis, Netgalley "His Outback Cowboy will appeal to people who like warm-hearted feelgood romances with just a touch of adventure thrown in for good measure."- Shelagh Merlin, Netgalley
From the Author Welcome to my small corner of Paradise Valley where the wildflowersbloom and the cowboys and cowgirls ranch the land of their forefathers. In my WildflowerRanch series each ranch was named by its pioneering family after a local wildflower.Just like the Montana wildflowers that endured fire, drought, snow and flood, the pioneers too had to find a way to survive in a sometimes unforgiving land.Generations later the fight for survival continues. For some of the descendantsit now is a deep loneliness they may face, a broken heart or the need to find someoneto stand shoulder to shoulder with through life. So come and share their journeysin my Wildflower Ranch series where hearts are healed, dreams are realised and thepain of the past is eased by the promise of the future.

By Alima Livzletlivz Alissa Callen’s Wildflower Ranch Series has become one of my favorites in recent times, and I’m so in love with these cowboys and cowgirls as well as Alissa Callen. Each book in the series is a charming love story under the big skies of Montana, people with big hearts, warm relationships and immense support and love. And into this heartwarming land comes “His Outback Cowgirl” Bridie Willis, Zane’s stepsister. Filled with grief over her father’s death and having no home in the outback anymore, Bridie is at a crossroad in her life. Spending time with her recently found family, all she wants to do is hone her love for photography and put a closure to her grief.Life has dealt Ethan Morgan a few hard blows that had molded him into what he is today, a warm and caring man, open with his love, and his unconditional support for his family. Seeing Bridie stirs feelings that have been buried, yet he feels inadequate for her. Ethan is one of Alissa Callen’s perfect heroes, humble with his imperfections. I loved him for the way he’s tuned into Bridie’s sadness, her desires and her insecurities. I just loved him!!!!Too short for my satisfaction and yet leaving me with so much happiness and tingles ;) “His Outback Cowgirl” is another feather in Alissa Callen’s series. There’s no dearth of sentiments and emotions, and you can’t help but fall in love with Ethan and Bridie. Now all Bridie has to do is trust her heart with Ethan and Ethan needs to trust his feelings for Bridie.Simply beautiful and captivating!!!!Received an ARC from Tule Publishing via NetGalley for an honest review.

Life has made him who he is, and he feels that he’s just too dull and boring for Bridie. I loved how gentle he was with her, how understanding about her grief and how he gives her time to be alone, while also just being around if she needs him. Their time away in the mountains was just lovely – as much for the wildlife as for their growing relationship.I liked Bridie too. She’s nice and fun, even if she is hurting deep inside. She sees Ethan for what he truly is too, and values him accordingly, even if she does get scared. I liked seeing young Finn again too and how Bridie interacted with her shy, newly-found nephew. There was a little bit towards the end that I thought could either have been handled better or been left out entirely, as it doesn’t really add anything to the plot the way that it unfolds. I had hopes for it, but they never materialized, making it seem pointless. But that small niggle aside I really enjoyed this and getting glimpses of the other Wildflower Ranch characters, particularly old match-making Henry. Sweet and lovely.(I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.)

Opposites Attract By Ruby Reads Bridie, an Australian outback ranching girl, comes to Montana to spend time with her mother’s family she’s never met and to escape the sadness of her beloved father’s death. She thinks spending time alone, out in the mountains she finds in Montana, is just what she needs to get pass the grief of the loss of her father. Ethan Morgan is the cautious twin to his brother Cordell considered “wild”. They have recently lost their mother. He is asked by his father to keep an eye on Bridie, and act as a guide while she’s in the mountains. Ethan isn’t particularly happy about babysitting, since he came to Montana from his Colorado ranch to help his dad after his hip surgery. What becomes obvious pretty quickly is his father’s attempt to play match maker between the two. While both Bridie and Ethan reluctantly agree to make an initial camping trip to the mountains on horseback together, they soon find they like and respect each other. At first Ethan thinks that Bridie is totally wrong for him since she's a headstrong adventurer and impulsive while he is a planner who wants order. However, the more time they spend together he begins to see that they are not as different as he first thought and he finds her irresistible. As their relationship grows, Bridie comes to term with the grief that brought her to Montana, and both are concerned with what happens in the future and whether their feelings are significant enough to keep them together. The developing relationship is peppered with a danger from poachers lurking in the background which goes unrecognized until it’s almost too late late. What I liked: Good character development and good description of the setting in Montana. Ethan is the perfect hero, perceptive and humble with his imperfections. What I didn’t like: The heroine seemed to be adventurous to the point of stupidity. What woman wants to travel alone into mountains with unfamiliar terrain and the possibility of dangerous prey. Bottom line: I'd recommend to any reader who likes romances with ranch or western settings.Received an ARC from Tule Publishing via NetGalley for an honest review.
