I just love the relationship between Kate and Drake. If I were part of the BDSM community, I would want a Dom like Drake. *Swoon* So, when given the opportunity to read Drake Unwound: Book 2, I jumped at the chance. I really enjoy the male point of view. Getting inside their head makes for a more complete view of the entire story. I gobbled up Drake Restrained and I couldn't wait to dive in deeper and see how the relationship unfolds as the newly engaged couple arrives in Africa. All of that being said, I felt like this book repeats itself over and over again. Also, Drake is very jealous in this book which I found unattractive. They are still one of my favorite couples, but, I was hoping for a little bit more.

Each character are strong and brought in realistic true-to-life angst and drama that made it more credible. So full of fascinating intrigue that is so consuming, pack with intense heat and steamy hot sex scenes that will pique and arouse anyones interest and desire. Drake and Kate's undeniable, unquenchable craving for each other put this up there on the pho king Red Hot Zone! This is a true most anticipated love story with so many twist and turns that'll have your stomach tied up in knots.

It list a lot of the intrigue from the first book and I found it impertinent and predictable. While we got to learn more about Drake, he didn't seem to learn about himself and instead of a self-reflective man, I found him to be a stubborn child refusing to grow. Additionally, Katherine shows that she is also weak in character and while she holds firm with her painting, is not the strong heroine she pretends to be in the first book.
