I decided to read it with my nieces and we were all delighted, intrigued and drawn in from the very beginning. What I love the most is that there was a part of the story that describes something I had been thinking about in life for some time, especially recently. And as I began to see that a part of this story touched upon this very thing that has been so near to me, I was in awe and had to stop to take in the beauty and synchronicity of it all.This is the kind of story that adults and children alike can enjoy, with universal wisdom, and it is one which can be read again and again as there are layers of meaning to it. I would recommend reading it together with children :~)My elder niece took note of things that I had missed in the story. This goes to show how we, as adults, sometimes need to strip away the layers we have accumulated and look at life through the eyes of a child and perhaps, somehow, this is what the book, in part, celebrates.
