Interesting, Thoughtful, and Informative--The Start of a Good Discussion By Freedom Fighter This book captured my interest because of the subject and how relevant it is in today's world. There's a great gap in the United States between various cultures and it's an interesting process to explore. The way that Mr. Jackson approached it was quite refreshing, using his own experiences and showing how all the change you want to see starts with the individual. It's not so much what other people perceive as your problems, and in some cases, opportunities, but what you do to become the best you can be--hence, where the title of the book comes in. While I didn't agree with every opinion that was in the book, it was still an amazing read and one that taught me a lot. Love the system that he lays out and everyone can learn something from it by implementing some of those steps. Our lives don't change overnight; however, with some key insight we can make a change in how we choose to approach things in an instant. Hopefully the people who can really be impacted in a positive way by this book get access to it. That would be a great thing!

There is a lot of useful information and thought provoking material that is well worth the cost of the book and time spent reading. I plan on finishing it in the next few days and then going back and re-reading with a highlighter. I am also buying a copy for each of my sons.
