About the Author
Lilian Wissink (BA GradDip Counselling) has over twenty years' experience as a counselling psychologist. Assisting people to discover and realise their potential by helping them to develop compassionate self- awareness and new skills is fundamental to her philosophy -- an approach that is further supported by her own experience as a developing artist. She is a member of the Australian Psychology Society and the College of Counselling Psychologists, has appeared on radio and television and has presented numerous conference papers. Lilian lives in Armidale, NSW.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. A very helpful book By Simon I work in front of a computer, watch too much TV and can't sit for 5 minutes without pulling out my smartphone. This book has inspired me to devote regular time ("creative speed-dates"!!) to other activities - creative writing and harmonica playing - as well as set up some other positive habits and I've found this has really helped to bring balance to my life.

Fantastic Read By Michaela As a busy professional woman and mother of two young children, it is difficult to find time for yourself to engage in other pursuits. This book teaches you the importance of nurturing your creative seed, even when you thought it was virtually non-existent or had no time to devote to it! It is a "must read" for anyone struggling to maintain work/life balance and who needs simple, easy to adopt strategies to cope with the stresses of modern day life. I found that the strategies and principles taught in the book can also be applied to projects in my working life so this book really has far reaching potential for a broad range of people and across many different aspects of their lives.
