This was such a fun story and I haven't seen one like this in a while. This is a BDSM book with children. Yes children and I LOVE how the relationship of Inga and Garrett changed as the story went on. Their relationship with each other and with the children. This book has a lot of yummy spankings and some that aren't so yummy but there is the wonderful aftercare. Now can I mention that this book is HOT! Ms. Michaels has an incredible steamy sizzling Dom who has a lot of rules to enforce. Garrett is first and foremost a father but he can't just hide his other side... his Dom side. When Inga and Garrett connect for the first time... well there are certainly sparks and I know your kindle will catch fire as you need some alone time with your bed. WARNING: Batteries are not included with the purchase of this book.

The kids Inga is responsible for are the sweetest and real to life. Having kids and still having a relationship is well done. I love reading good books and this one tops them. Adams ~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads Review Team~This is the second book in the series and I have found that this author likes to just jump right into things. There really isn’t a lot of buildup and some of the story is a little far fetched. In this book I didn’t really ever feel a connection to Garret. He was so upset about his wife/slave dying but then all of the sudden he was all over Inga. It just didn’t make much sense. If you can get over all that then it was an ok book. I didn’t love it and I didn’t hate it. I just didn’t feel the connection with Garret or the connection between him and Inga and was hoping for more.Characters: well writtenSex: yesReligious: noWould I recommend to others: yesMore than one book in the series: yesGenre: M/s /RomanceWould I read more by this author: yes~Wicked Reads Review Team~

Not as expected By Luvs Books 2015 "Revised" edition: If you can't find a copy of the 1985 first edition of The Horses of San Simeon and have an interest in the Hearst family and their fabulous coastal California estate, this book could be for you. I already have a copy of the 1985 edition, and it's a beautiful thing. When I found out that there was a "revised edition" available, I assumed that it was a true, updated version of the original, bit the bullet and sent in $85 for it. When it arrived, I was surprised to see that it did not look or feel like an $85 book. No dust jacket, no slipcover, just a glossy pictorial cover, and smaller in size than the original version. However, that still would have been acceptable given my expectation of updated content. Sadly, the only new content is a brief, seven page (including one full page and two half page photos) epilogue written by William R. Hearst III. The "revisions" seem to consist mainly of the removal of chapter heading quotations and changes in the sizes of several photographs. There is a caption error in the original edition - the captions beside two of the three registration certificates reproduced in the Morgan Horse chapter have been reversed. Strangely, that mistake wasn't rectified in the revised version. If you can get past the fact that this book is overpriced for what is basically a reprint of an earlier work, and/or have an interest in a wonderful rags to riches tale, then don't let me discourage you. The lovely Sam Savitt illustrations are a bonus.

By A Customer This novel emphasizes the struggles within the heart of a young pastor as he confronts his faith in God and examines whether what he professes to believe is acually true. His dilema begins when one of his congregation (an outwardly deformed but inwardly pious dwarf) notices that the sermons he is delivering are not of his own making. We watch Thomas Wingfold as he struggles to confront the Truth and then apply it to his life as he seeks to help a rich young girl deal with a grief that is threatening to open her up to a deeper part of life that she ever knew existed.

By MacDonald Fan I noticed there were a bewildering number of editions of this book, and spent a lot of time looking through to find what I wanted: in particular, the "3 (original) volumes" all in one book, that is, the whole story in one book.I like the size (not too thick) and paper quality. I also like the typeset of this book: it is not big, but comfortable for me, with nice margins and space between the paragraphs to make most reading fairly easy (though a few long paragraphs in this font might tire some people). I feel quite disappointed in the spell-checking though. I don't remember reading a book with so many typos! It may have been only 1 every 5 pages or so, but I'm not a careful reader and for me to notice them means there are quite a few - a disappointing feature of an otherwise very acceptable edition.

The spiritual journey that he embarks on, and continues throughout the book, is one that includes questions all Christians will have to eventually ask themselves. Some of the sermons and questions in the book hit home, and really made me ask questions of myself.If you like MacDonald, this is a book with a clear spiritual message that will really impact you. I highly recommend it.

The One You Want is immature By S Walker I am a big Gena Showalter fan, but not this book.Dane - rich, emotionally stunted, rude. 29 acts 18.Kenna - poor, rich mom that ignores her and her granddaughter, emotionally vulnerable/stunted, immature. 23 talks and acts like 15 year old , thinks in hash tags.Whether the characters were 6 through 60 Everyone in this book is immature and rude. The whole small town is full of sluts and nuts. Everyone is rude judgemental and mean. This book is not for me and I will not read any more in the heartbreakers Series.

Even free this is not worth the time - read her older books instead By Amazon Customer I don't like negative reviews but sometimes a there is nothing positive about a book and readers should be forewarned. I ordered this book because I have read Gena Showalter's books for years, and greatly enjoyed her previous contemporaries. This book was so disappointing that I never would have believed it was by the same author.With the exception of the child I did not like any of the characters and nothing that happened made any sense. (I started typing up the things that did not make sense and realized that I was recounting the whole book so I abandoned the idea.)Other reviewers have excused the choppiness, lack of flow and incomplete character development on the fact that the book was a novella, but that is no excuse. I have read hundreds of novellas and they can be great; this attempt does not even reach the level of "Fair". I won't be reading the rest of this series.Authors, here is a tip - if you are starting a new series don't kick it off with a book that makes a reader stop reading your work.

It is only the second one I have read but so far I am loving her work. This is a story about second chances and not only for relationship but for children (it is part of the backstory). The author gives you a peak into the why and how the Crawley Ranch started and how these sexy cowboys became brothers. Your taken back into just a glimpse and not overly done. There was no time wasted and the flow was continuously. I loved the setting of the story along with the season, makes it perfect for any especially for winter. The main characters had an immediate sizzling attraction that you could hold onto. However, i have to say I loved all the brothers and can't wait for their stories. They brought humor to the story. Drannon (one of the owners now) has had a hard life, he's grown into his adulthood and has overcome many obstacles. He's your sexy, rugged, and raw cowboy. Lacy, needed a break away from her everyday struggle. She hasn't had the best of childhood either. Gorgeous red head, yet a low self-esteem. At a ranch with all those sexy cowboys, talk about a girls dream come true!! As the story progress these two are a hot force to be reckoned with and the scenes are smoldering hot. I loved that yes they were broken but for the most part have grown up. This is truly a hot romance that will have you begging for more and hold on because there are more brothers to fulfill needs. I can't wait to see what the author holds for the future in this series and ill definitely be jumping to grab the next one. Grab this one for your next hot and sexy cowboy read!!

Great Story By dirobbo This is the first book of Lori King that I have read and I loved it!This is the story of Drannon and Lacy at Crawley Creek Ranch.Lacy has come to get away from her life after she loses her job. She booked this trip before she lost her job and this trip was for her to re-evaluate her life. She was not expecting someone like Drannon to change her life dramatically.Drannon has been through some tough times in his life and is not expecting the visitor to the ranch to make such an impact on him.They both find it hard to fight the attraction but will Lacy give up her life to stay in North Dakota?This was a quick read that captivated you from the start and couldn't put it down. It pulls at the heart strings with what these 2 people went through in life to be where they are now.I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. - Naughty Book Eden

Who wouldn't say no to being snowed in with a house full of hot Cowboys!Drannon and his foster brothers want to return the karma they were given when they landed in foster care with Abe and Sara. They took over the ranch wanting to provide a place where those who needs to recoup could do it in a safe and quiet atmosphere. To carry on the legacy Abe and Sara started and give children a foster home and a good start in life! Lacy just wanted to learn to ride a horse and get her life in order, boy was she in for a surprise!Loved this from start to finish and can't wait to read he rest of the series. If you want a hot, steamy, oh so romantic read then carry on and one click away!

She is not afraid to fight for what is hers and does not back down to threats. When Cassie returns home to the Outback for her Grandfather's funeral, she finds that she has inherited his property. Some people aren't very happy that she is the new owner, and a feud that has been going on for generations is about to start getting more heated.Cassie's Mother holds a welcome home party for her son Matt's friend, hoping it will end the feud being the younger generation are friends. Cassie isn't too happy to go to the party for the man that broke her heart, and could he be the one behind the threats to her and her son, although she still has feelings for him.A nice romantic suspense set in the Outback. You won't be disappointed for getting this one.

By Brenda Telford Cassandra Kinkaid had no idea how she would manage without her beloved grandfather – his passing meant she returned from Sydney with her son, two year old Danny for the funeral; the inheritance of Willow Creek Station, her grandfather’s property, meant she would remain and work the farm, just as he had wanted. But there had been a feud between her family, the Kinkaids and the nearby Thornton family for generations – and it seemed it would continue with her mother being approached at the funeral to sell Willow Creek Station for an exorbitant amount of money. I love how this auction is built around helping a boy with severe life altering injuries. This bachelor’s story can be read in a couple of hours so it’s a quick read.. It is predictable while enjoyable. It has two characters that meet, are attracted and before you know it, are antagonistic towards each other. The rest of the story is the working out of that. However, if I were Meg I would want to know where the limousine with champagne and chocolate is. I don’t think she ever received that date.Like most of the other bachelors, Linc felt pressured into the auction. Blaming Meg who he had just met felt wrong to me. Big business mover and shaker that he was, he could have just said no. So from the beginning, it seemed more to me that he was angry that she turned down his proposition. This fact added to how quickly he changed from confirmed bachelor to family man, made the story forced to me. I like him but did not see why Meg fell so hard for him.Speaking of Meg, I admired how the author did not shy away from Meg’s abandonment issues. She seems to have come to a good understanding of herself, even when she is not in complete control of her feelings. I would have liked more about the stalker that caused such havoc in her life in Chicago. That aspect of the story tied up nicely but without much fanfare. One of my favorite parts of the storyline is all the catching up with her brother, Blake and his family, especially the teenagers. That is so very well done. 3.5 starsNet Galley provided a copy.

By bookaholic ge I received this book as an ARC from Net Galley for my honest review!This is the first book that I have read in this series and my first by Dani Collins. I finished this book very fast because I had to know what was going to happen.I loved Meg, she was funny and although she had a ruff past she did not walk around like her world was ending; she just kept trying to push through all of the craziness surrounding her. The funniest scene to me is when she explains to her brother who she is with after the auction. Thinking about it now makes me laugh while I am writing this review.The chemistry between Linc and Meg is out of this world. Meg plays a small prank on Linc which ends up with him being in an bachelor auction, for a very good cause. Feeling bad that she tricked him she bids on him and is very surprised on how the auction ends. What they thought would be one night of passion actually ended up being an unbreakable connection.Good for you Dani Collins on not making this book a cookie cutter romance! The reactions to the situations were very realistic. It had the right amount of heartache and the perfect amount of romance, all for 2.99 on amazon! Great job, Great book, Great price!

By Lelim0612 "The bachelors Baby" is about Megan and Linc two people with an emotional handicaps.Megs problem stems from being adopted and her feelings about being abandoned by her birth parents . She breaks off relationships quickly when the men she chooses do not give her the showing of love that she needs.Linc's issues stem from the death of both of his parents first his father when he was a child then his mother as an adult. Linc felt he had to step up and provide for his mom, so he starts working in the oil field. This is a very hard sometimes very demanding job, always traveling and never at home to see his mom. His mom passes away leaving him alone.We meet Meg and Linc when Meg is reminding herself she is a "lucky" person. However at this moment she's not feeling that way, you see she just fishtailed her brothers truck on an ice patch, and is now stuck on the side of the road. Linc pulls up and offers help. While Linc is helping Meg they start telling each about themselves. Linc finds out Meg is just visiting her brother and will be going back to Chicago. He invites Meg to come see the ranch, Meg not being a stupid woman, realizes what Linc is actually asking, a very short term relationship. Meg tells Linc no. However, Meg has a change of heart. You see, she got Linc tricked into participating in a Bachelor Auction, and she feels guilty. She visits Lincs ranch, and one thing leads to another and ... Meg returns home to Chicago. However, several weeks later meg realizes she is pregnant, she quit her job and returns home to her brothers ranch. On her way home she stops at the Circle H Ranch and tell Linc about the pregnancy. Linc reacts very badly and devastates Meg. I am NOT going to go any further into description of the book. You need, yes need to read it. I will say, if you like contemporary romance novels, you will really enjoy this book. You will see how both Linc and Meg work through their emotional problems and of course get together.The characters in the book and all of the scenes are very well written, some reallly well written (fan fan, lol).Thank you Tule Publishing for the ARC copy of this book. I really enjoyed the book, and I knew now have a new or author to go on my favorites list, Dani Collins.Ms. Collins, really great job on the book. After an unpleasant experience with a French pilot, who is now sleeping with her roommate, she meets back up with her ex, her only love who is too busy seeing the world to settle down. Now that he is off jet setting again she is off to enjoy St. Patrick's Day. Being an Irish girl she dresses in her best St. Patrick's green and heads to her favorite pub. After an embarrassing encounter with some green beer she meets up with Colin. Her experience with him is earth shattering and he offers her an opportunity she never expected that may just be too good to turn down. Another hot installment in the Quickies Encounter on the way to see who will win the bet.

DuBois has planted some sweet tid bits to where this maybe headed By Robyn With a scary weird roommate and a French student that is does not know what the word over means she is ready for anything. Brooke sure gets the raw end of a "shillelagh" while she was with Colin! Brooke desperate to win this bet will stop at nothing to win. Colin just may have the answer to her prayers. Will a feisty Molly Weintraub rear her head up in this series? One never knows with Monique. Mrs. DuBois has planted some sweet tid bits to where this maybe headed. I love the twist and turns. I cannot wait to read up on more of Brooke and her adventures.

The characters are so real and the emotions are so descriptive that you can feel them. My favorite is Rylie and Phoenix story, although not in this set. Dylan and Cheyenne are really special to me also.The writings from this author have made choose her as my "go to author".

Thankfully, I stuck with the story as it gets much better as you get to see the hero in a closer light. My initial perception of Myles was-- this guy is crazy!. This was not your typical story about a sports star who gets the girl. In fact, in this story, I wasn't sure at first if the guy even needed to get the girl. Myles is not the dumb jock and Lacy is not the fair maiden. Myles is a black quarterback for the Detroit Cobra and Lacy is a white journalist tasked with helping Myles write his autobiography. He is a dedicated athlete at the top of his game who initially comes across as arrogant and self absorbed. But as Lacy peels back the layers of his intricate personality, what she discovers is unfathomably amazing.. His cocky persona quickly gives way to a warm, generous man that is a true enigma. The story will readers on a nice adventure ride that will have you wanting more.. Part 2 should be a blast!

By Mera I felt like a dear friend shared with me all the need to know information based on personal experience and caring that he'd experienced first hand. The author guided the reader towards hope for this diagnosis in that each episode is temporary and a better life can be found in response to finding the right combination of healthy living, building a peer support network, and finding the right medication regimen with appropriate therapy. The author confronts head on the dangers of lifestyle choices with alcohol and drug abuse. This honest and supportive narrative is a must read for anyone who needs a quick start to how to begin to deal with the diagnosis of mental illness and bipolar disorder.

About the Author Dustin Pari was born and raised in New England, where he makes his home with his wife and daughter still today. In addition to his career in health care he enjoys his work as a motivational speaker, Christian lecturer, and paranormal researcher. Dustin has co-authored two books about the paranormal (The Complete Approach, My Home Is Haunted... Now What?) prior to this work. He prides himself upon being an industrious spirit with a kind heart, and a smile for all he meets.

Dustin Pari wrote an amazing book, that included just the right amount of awesomeness, randomness, and whimsy to keep you reading. Basically what the front cover of his book says, is what describes him. He is true to himself, and never straying from what is most important to him. He is a family man, a Paranormal Rockstar, and all around an awesome dude. He is keen to learn new things, and try new things, and if it doesn't work for him, he will try something else. But with the same childlike enthusiasm that he had for the previous experience. For him, it is about doing what you love, and love what you do. He does just that. He does it through motivational speaking, though his job, ghost hunting, and creating a community of faith, love and acceptance through The Patch Ministry. I could not put this book down for a second. It is motivating and inspiring. I think anyone who is looking for guidance, should give this book a read. It is worth their time. "Dream big. The delightfully whimsical path through his thoughts is lined with honesty, integrity, & ambition-all with the merriment & optimism I haven't felt since I was a care-free child. Every chapter-every word-leaves you with the desire to be a better person, to live life with love, & to start every day with a smile. As I read, I had periods of smiles, tears, & bursting laughter. Dustin has lived his life in a way to inspire others to be hopeful & to always keep their faith. His words about his family, feelings, ambition, & ministry (just to name a few) only begin to introduce you to what an extraordinary person he truly is. This book will no doubt make you a better person after reading it. I literally couldn't put it down. You'll finish & want to read it all over again. By Alison Baughman I met Dustin Pari at a Paranormal Conference in PA and I will never forget how gracious he was when I asked him if I could take a picture for my son who was one of his biggest fans. He did not hesitate and motioned me over and insisted I was in the picture with him. We did a "thumbs up" with a smile and in that moment, with that picture, he made me the coolest Mom ever in my son's eyes. I saw his new book and ordered it and I have to say it was time well spent reading it. I have to admit that if a book does not entertain me, it ends up half-read in a box in the basement but this book was enjoyable from start to finish. Even more so, it was inspirational. There were many ah-hah moments, a few tears born out of being able to relate, and a newfound sense of respect and admiration for Dustin Pari. He is an excellent writer, gifted actually. His wisdom shines throughout the chapters and much can be learned as you wander through his life sharing his experiences.
