From the Author Acknowledgements I want to thank my brother Roy who didn't hesitate to give his consent to publish our parents' love letters and encouraged me every step of the way.  I'm deeply grateful for the wise advice of Stephen L. By Marta Wow, reading this book was probably the best thing I have done for myself in months, it is a great, motivational resource both for personal and professional development and obviously, for more success and FREE TIME, yes, something everyone is always looking for and something that is priceless. I especially enjoyed the tips on getting up early, something that I have always struggled with( especially in the winter). Luckily the book tells you how to do it, and I have been making a gradual progress every day, 15 minutes earlier with my main goal to be up and ready to smash it around 7AM next week. Darrin did a brilliant job, this is my favorite book of his authorship( all of them were great).

In this book, Mr Wiggins has given us some really great information about working in the mornings, transforming from a night owl to a morning bird, and setting up a habit to make exercise easy. Overcoming inertia isn't just a physics lesson, it is life lesson, and the process is the same whether it is a rock you're trying to push uphill or getting out of bed in the morning. This book helps us get there.

About the Author David Ross is known as "The Quitter," but it was not always this way. By Jodi Whether you are looking for a great story or you need inspiration on quitting a bad habit, this is the perfect book for you to read. It takes the reader on a journey and in the end, is an inspiration on taking control of your life. I picked this book up and couldn't put it down until I had finished the entire story!!

David is an inspiration and thank God he made it though all that. After reading, I had a better appreciation of what addiction really is, how hard it is to break, and how you can do it when you finally "flip that switch". It was amazing, I haven't laughed and been moved so much at once by a book like here while reading By Your Side. I really enjoyed this story. There were some hilarious scenes that made me snort from laughing (mostly thanks to Casey and Remy's many interactions) - great humor is a big advantage of this novel. 12 of 12 people found the following review helpful. Good but not 'as good' By Chitown Reader I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars but I'm going with three. I love the Embattled series but this one was my least favorite. It's probably not fair to compare books but Embattled SEAL just doesn't hold a candle to the others. Cat is a good wife and mother who rushes to her husband's bedside when he is severely injured. She did so despite Harper walking out on her and their two kids several months ago with little to no communication since then. I get why he did so, but that doesn't really make it right imho.The book tells the tale of her perseverance to save their relationship, and his determination to recover his both health and his family. The rebuilding of their relationship is satisfying. The bond between Harper and his colleagues at LNF is too. The commitment he shows to 'righting' the wrongs he inflicted on his family is commendable, as is his service to our country as a SEAL. But the plot is a little lacking and a conflict with a bad guy seems forced in an effort to set up a rescue. While, overall, this one didn't work for me it absolutely does get points for strong characters who love deeply, some pretty heady action between the sheets, and for allowing me to revisit some of my favorite characters from LNF. Even with only three stars, Embattled SEAL is better than several books I've read this year... just not up to the incredibly high bar set by Embattled Minds, Embattled Home, Embattled Christmas or Embattled Road. That said, I'm hopeful that there are many more Embattled books and I'll keep reading them. Great author, very strong and independent lead women characters, and men that any woman would be proud to love and be loved by.

6 of 6 people found the following review helpful. Not her best By Book lover Harper, the sniper of "Lost and Found" was seriously wounded during the last operation. The Team took him to the hospital, where a woman burst into his room and insisted that she is Harper' s wife and the mother of his children. How can that be? Nobody at "Lost and Found" knew that Harper was married, needless to say a father. What happened to the couple and does their relation have a second chance?Basically this book started exactly where the previous installment stopped, which was when Harper was delivered to the hospital. Although this book could be read as a stand-alone, I still think it would help to read the books sequentially.I loved Cat's "take charge" mentality and appreciated how she fought for Harper and their common future. Her character was presented realistically and well balanced. Harper's character on the other hand was depicted more one-dimensional. However, the consequences that his service to the country had on himself, his life and in the continuation to the people who are important to him was heart wrenching.The scenery of the book was very limited. Mainly it played in Harper's hospital room and in the house Cat rented for his recovery. Equally, the set of characters involved in the plot was rather limited, focusing mainly on Harper and Cat. Throughout the story line there was very little involvement of subcharacters. Only during the introduction at the beginning and only very shortly towards the end of the story were more secondary characters involved. This monotony couldn't be outbalanced by the plot and soon I felt that the book faltered. The overly sweet happy-end even enhanced the impression that the book didn't meet my expectations.As a huge fan of the "Lost and Found" series I sadly have to admit that I was slightly disappointed by this installment. However, I'm patiently looking foreward to the next installment and hope that this will be on Duncan. In any case, if youre a fan of the series you don't want to miss out this installment - even if it isn't the best installment.

A Love like no other is worth fighting for By California Girl in MA I received this as an ARC from the writer for an honest review.Harper Preston is a very private man and he keeps his emotions held tight. The guys at LNF don't know much about his life other than he was a highly trained sniper and a Navy SEAL. No one knew that he had a wife, until she shows up at the hospital to be by his side. With Cat there taking charge of Harpers recovery, she lets him know that she's ready to give their love another try. Will he take her up on it or are the ghosts of his past too much for him? Are his wounds (both physical and mental) too deep to work past?Get a box of tissues for this one! I loved Harper and Cat's story and I know that you will too!

Very good reminder to us all on staying positive and how to achieve our goals By Denis Denis It's relatively a short read but contains very good reminders to us all about the power of positivity. It's a good reminder that our natural tendency is to think negative and we have to INTENTIONALLY think positive to stay positive. There are really interesting concepts in the book. It's an easy read. Even if this books doesn't really introduce new theories it serves as a great guide. Highly recommended.

2 of 3 people found the following review helpful. mediocrity disguised as powerful positivity By Silvia The only interesting thing I found in the book was the idea of a 4-week action plan with a few concrete steps for improvement.The rest of the book is mainly about transparent emotional manipulation (and tons of exclamation marks), same old visualization techniques and goal setting tips, why you should prefer positive emotions, why optimism is good - oh, sorry. I didn't even know it's something desirable. This book had to explain why over a few long and relatively boring pages.Not impressed at all.

During Smith's story we were introduced to Tatiana and I just *knew * there had to be a Sullivan out there to give her the HEA she deserved.Ian, a workaholic , damaged in many ways by his first marriage and the continued manipulation of his first wife doesn't know what to make of the young ingenue. Can someone in "the biz" really be as true and gentle as Tatiana? Is her innocence just an act honed by years perfecting her craft?While she recognizes her feelings early on, it is Ian who truly struggles.Can she convince him to take her at face value? Can Ian release the demons of his past to let love into his life?This page turner will pull you into their world and hoping until the over last page. Thanks Bella for another wonderful addition to this clan's tale, can't wait for more.

I couldn't stop reading and I want more! And... The bathtub! And the barn! Whew! H-O-T! Another winner for Bella! Can't wait to read more of the Sullivans!

This one and her other book: "Mr. Unavailable and the Fallback Girl." These two books helped pull me out of my funk and made me realize that my ex boyfriend's poor treatment was HIS problem, NOT mine. I had just ALLOWED it to go on for too long. I broke contact (not my usual course of action) and he didn't know what to do. The longer I ignored him the more I realized that he was really a butt-head (keeping name clean for Amazon) and I couldn't understand WHY I was so hung up on him in the first place, or WHAT I honestly saw in him to begin with. I learned to never ignore those inner "red flags" that we all get. Trust your gut, do not accept HOT/COLD treatment, poor treatment or poor behavior from a man that "talks, talks and talks" a big relationship game but whose actions show he is still a toddler potty training emotionally. It's not your job to "fix" him. Go be that awesome, independent woman that your are, sister!

I have read several books on moving on after a hard breakup and they are hardly helpful. This book goes into depth about certain types of partners that keep sending mixed signals after a breakup. Natalie unwinds this ball of yarn and makes sense out of these types of people. It is an important book as these people that play games and send numerous contradictory messages after a breakup are usually toxic and can wreak a lot of pain and suffering. As a therapist, I have been dealing with ugly breakups and even uglier temporary reconciliations and have seen first hand the pain that this causes for the person being left behind. As they hope against hope that it will work out and they can get back together with this person, again they get humiliated and mistreated time and again. Natalie does an extraordinary job of "de-coding" this type of person and relationship and gives practical advice on what needs to be done to put this behind you. I routinely assign this book as homework to clients that have been in ongoing dysfunctional relationships, usually with one of the partners being married to someone else or having multiple relationships. Natalie is a great writer and although I have not read her other books, I can most highly recommend this one. It will stop the pain.

By David Jernigan First off I'm a male and this book has been tremendous in helping me learn how define my boundaries with my ex-wife. So this is not just for women. IT's like she is in my head and knows what I am going through.I bought the Kindle version and I riddled it with notes and highlights to go back and reference. When you really want to find help for yourself and move on, it's more than just reading a book and putting it down. She gave so much good advice about your own value and the behaviors that cause you not to let go, or movie on. It has helped me SO much in recognizing the reality of what I'm going through and accepting it. I absolutely LOVE this author and this book.The No Contact rule is a must for setting boundaries and moving on. I'm in a minimal contact situation, and Mrs.Lue touches on that. You can still have limited contact but have healthy boundaries because after all it's about YOU and YOUR life and YOUR needs, not the other person. She even talks about the things you're ex's will do when you go NC and it's like she's peeking into a window of my life. Yep, that happened, yep, that happened...and Mrs. Lue is honest, and inspirational. She's not patting you on the head and saying you will be ok, she's like the coach saying get up! This is reality! Let's get into shape and I'll show you how to do it!I can't say enough about this book if you are SERIOUS about putting in the work you need to do No Contact and get control back of your life. You want to be fit, eat right and exercises, you want to get healing and move on, then put the work in and do what you have to do, and Mr's Lue give's you those tools. I can't say enough how much this has helped me.

I dislike manipulation of a writer. If the writing and story is good then there is no reason for misleading the readers.Out of the few reviews posted ,no one mentioned that the story is continued. I have just finished reading the book and I must say that only three words come to mind...OH MY GOODNESS!!! I am a kindergarten teacher and have had to space my reading times out between riding lesson plans, grading papers, and cutting out things that I have laminated… But during those times that I have been able to sit down and read I have not been able to put this book down!!! For me the author grabbed my attention from page 1 and kept it all the way through to the end! I guess I'm a sucker for heartbreaking love stories... With this book, he author delivers drama, suspense, and hot, HOT PASSION!Vera and Sebastian have a love story that so many of us wish that we had! The author has given them both such horrific paths end tragic losses... That as their love story unfolds and you see their hearts and souls begin to heal and knit back together , that your own spirit begins to breathe a sigh of relief end rejoice right along with them! You will laugh with this book , cry with this book, and even find yourself holding your breath a th as you read through certain passages. I have found a million different things that have made me to fall in love with this author and the new characters that she err has so beautifully painted and brought to life for me!! By Maria Caridad Lopez III Josh David has laid out all the important characteristics of the garden-variety psychopaths and the inevitable harm they heaps upon their partners in the relationship cycle of idealization, devaluation, and discarding. Josh writes in layman's terms the effect of deception, covert and overt abuse, manipulation, and pathological lying have on the partner's psyche. He discusses specific steps to take to break free of the trauma bond and begin walking the path towards a healthy life and healthy relationships. It's important to note that this book is written in terms that a person fresh out of an abusive relationship can read without the dry clinical terminology and confusing verbiage. It is obviously written by a thoughtful and caring person who wishes to give something to those who are feeling pain and confusion.

As human beings we long to be with someone and have an emotional connection to them to give and receive love and sometimes things do not work out as planned but this book is a great hope and reassurance that their is something called happily ever after but it comes with a lot of hard work and dedication. I love how the author stated their is no Mr. Perfect because no is perfect we all have our faults and if we look for perfection in someone we will be disappointed. I love this book and the contents the author has written about . It is a practical guide to relationship happiness.
