5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. The Alphas Concubine is a Celtic old world feel. By Sandy Brazzel WARNING This story has an old world setting that many can not grasp. Older than time. I loved it. Almost Celtic dark age, villages, furs not clothing along with flint knives metal just being discovered. I found it well written with a story. it does have a sex scene but it does not consume this book. If you are looking for erotica for a quick fix, probably not the book for you. This is a excellent story and a great read.

By Homesteader If you enjoyed the pre-historical world of Clan of the Cave Bear...but though the book needed some shapeshifers...then The Alpha's Concubine will be right up your alley. Our heroine is sucked out of her normal village life when she's captured by a band of werewolves in a raid. Turned into the alpha's concubine in her new life, she has to find her way within an entirely different culture than her own.This is a very different werewolf book than the ones you may have read to date, with plenty of sizzle but with thought-provoking world-building and characterizations as well. It's more a coming-of-age tale than a romance (at least so far!), and thus gives the reader more to sink her teeth into. Highly recommended!

There Is An Idea For What Could have been GREAT By I❤shopping_online This is pretty fast paced and the idea could be seen but it was executed in such a butcher like manner. It was all over the place. I was hoping this was going to be amazing. The cover is wonderful. Just wish the author took her time to deliver a good story that she thought was okay to chop up into pieces and sell to the readers.
