By Bill Anderson Length: print, 58 pages but Amazon estimates Kindle page length is 65 pages.I just noticed this gem is still a free download. If you have any interest in Ancient Egypt, do not hesitate to download this for free. Further, if you have Kindle Unlimited, this is a terrific book to borrow.I've lived a good deal of my life in Egypt and have visited Saqqara several times with my wife and our Egyptian Yorkie, Buddy. Thus, of course, I have a deep interest in this area which played such a prominent role in shaping the West's first significant civilization.It is not merely the discussion, though, that wows me. The several excellent photographs add value. I've taken lots of pics myself, but am envious of some included herein. Pity that there are not a few dozen more. Yes, I know. Just as I am a glutton for ice cream, I love to view great photographs.Aside from the above praises, the writing and editing are a slice above most titles published by Charles River Editors.

If you're interested in Egyptology this is a great book By Modupe Hendricks The book Memphis: The History and Legacy of the Capital of Ancient Egypt is concise and brief but the pictures are excellent. I learned a lot about the ancient first and second Dynasties. The authors also explained that it is difficult for explorers and researchers to obtain an excellent overview of that city because the community and farmers have built all around the former Memphis. If you're interested in Egyptology this is a great book. I recommend this book.
