About the Author Born in Houston, TX, in 1974, Elizabeth Davis started writing at an early age. Her first book was written for an elementary school assignment when she was eight years old. It was called Silly Excuses--a book about fantastic excuses young children can tell their parents when they have been naughty. Not only did she pass the assignment with flying colors, her teacher loved the book so much that she had it published in the school library.Elizabeth has been writing ever since. Elizabeth earned her B.A. from Bowie State University in Communications Media. Her hobbies include reading, baking, traveling with her family, and life coaching. She currently resides in The Netherlands with her husband Pawel, their son Aiden, and Hermes, the family cat.

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Great Book! By BookSnuggle I received a copy of this book for an honest review. The book got my attention right from the start. This is a classic romance novel but it goes deeper. The way the author describes everything makes you feel part of the story. You can feel the emotions of all the characters. I stayed up late two nights in a row reading this book because I couldn't put it down. I think sequels could be written to continue the story of some of the other characters in the book. I look forward to reading other books by Elizabeth Davis.

The book went in ten different directions, the dialogue was horrid, and there were so many things wrong that I believed it was written by a thirteen year old girl. I quit highlighting things that didn't add up, were cliche, or just bizarre because half of every page was highlighted. I couldn't, in good conscience, recommend this book to anyone. Perhaps If the author had an experienced writer re-write this 'draft' it could be a good story. That's why I gave it two stars instead of one.

She reminded me of myself when I was young! I'm glad Wil turned out to be a good guy! For a first book this author is very talented! I look forward to reading more of her work!
