By Steven Farris If you've never meditated before but want to, or if you are a beginner, still learning the ropes, this would be a great book to get. It is packed with great meditation exercises for the novice, many of which you can practice in a mere 15 - 20 minutes and be done. Nicolas covers a lot of ground here, explaining the benefits of meditation and (I won't spoil it for you), the Ultimate meditation benefit (with which I concur)! But over and above the good advice and tips on making meditation a part of your life, the mediation exercises are excellent. The book itself is well written and absorbing, so if you're on the fence as to weather to cough up the dough and find enlightenment, I would advise you to do it... I don't think you'll regret it as your health and outlook will benefit greatly from practicing the methods contained in this book!

Something for Everyone By Rebecca of Amazon If thinking about meditation makes you think of monks chanting then all the other ways you can meditate may surprise you. This book has seven methods of meditating which range from the bizarre to the calming. I liked the breathing meditation best and that usually works for me. But there is a whirling meditation which might not be for everyone. You end up falling on the floor in a heap. Well some people might not be able to do that. It sounds OK for the younger set who are very flexible and padded. I did like the section on running and swimming. This book also explains the benefits of meditation and told me lots of things I didn't already know. The benefits are really amazing and with some of these meditations you can get a rush of endorphins which is always fun.~The Rebecca ReviewThank you to the author for a free copy to review. It then goes into several tips and steps that can help you learn meditation. Meditation takes time and isn't easy but the benefits are so great that I'm working hard on it. This book will help me learn meditation.
