About the Author Growing up with strong Southern Baptist black parents in a 95% white middle class community, Va found himself facing all the trials, tribulations and traps that face black men in America. After graduating high school, he landed a well-paying job at a large insurance company. Before getting to comfortable there, he enlisted in the Air Force, quit his job, and left for Harstville, S.C. Women are afraid of things that tell men to take charge and be in control of women but then complain that they can't find any real men! This book will help men become aware of why they make certain decisions, how to avoid making the ones that have detrimental consequences, and become the men women need.
