Engaging historical biographies of the Southwest By Laura Saints & Scoundrels is a fun read full of short biographies on some of the Wild West's most entertaining characters. You may find yourself thinking as I did, "So that's who that road/trail is named after!". And I'm happy to report that the author included my favorite Arizona historical figure-- the famous camel driver, "Hi Jolly".

A great find on unique, historical stories from AZ By rjw Some incredible stories discovered in this book- short and sweet about each character but all interesting. Larcena Pennington's story about surviving being kidnapped was amazing as was the detail behind the story of the Navajo Code Talkers. Really enjoyed the photos and the entertainment of reading it.
