It took quitting that company and leaving my business partner to go it alone to teach me that life didn't have to be a downward spiral into burnout. Now, I'm very precious with my time and how I use it because I don't want to return to that.Jayne's book is a wealth of information on how to identify the early signs of burnout (which is so important, as it will keep you from hitting rock bottom). She also teaches how to recover your enthusiasm for life, how to regain your passion and purpose, and how to develop success strategies that are actually sustainable. This is a complete system for recovery: how to identify the problem (burnout), how to get out of it, and how to make lasting life changes to avoid slipping back into the burnout spiral.Jayne speaks from experience, which makes her a very credible expert on the topic. She managed to reclaim her life and her energy after experiencing burnout herself.This is a fantastic book, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is unhappy with life and who suspects they might be experiencing burnout. Well expressed ideas, and easy to understand helpful summarized content at the end of each chapter merely enhances its reading experience.Once the idea behind the words is absorbed by one's mind, it's very difficult not to be enticed by the logic of the concept and the extensive research that went in presenting it so well.Although most of us are aware of the common causes of burnout and how to prevent it from happening, a well laid out plan and ideas to implement a healthier lifestyle as offered in this book are very helpful.Jayne comes across as a warm and incredibly organised person with a fantastic profile, but her inherent humility and drive to help others deal with this very serious issue is what endears her to the reader.Good advice and useful information coming from a creditable person can only improve one's general knowledge and open a new kind of thinking for the mind.Jayne Morris has successfully been able to put it across to the reader very effectively.
