I would recommend this book to anyone ready to look inside By Karin M Lisa Renee has a powerful message that she shares openly and honestly with her readers. She has valuable insight into verbal abuse and helps victims recognize and identify the signs. She offers help and support, in clear, everyday language, enabling women in toxic relationships permission to allow themselves to move forward. This book is full of true stories, both from Lisa Renee's life and those of her clients, that many women will be able to identify with. Even those not in toxic relationships may find this book helpful when looking at how we, as women, see ourselves and our self worth. Lisa provides an abundance of resources for women in all stages of their lives and strategies for living with, or leaving a toxic relationship. I would recommend this book to anyone ready to look inside, dig deep, and choose a path to a happier, more fulfilled you.

No Permission Needed should be required reading for all women By L March I received an advanced copy of this book and No Permission Needed is an insightful book on the really tough and difficult subject of verbal abuse. LisaRenee's book is a very brave, honest, sensitive and empowering all rolled into one. Far to often we settle for less than we deserve and with one compromise after another we lose sight of who we are. LisaRenee's account of her own life stories as well as the several case studies included show you that you can change the endings of your own stories.No Permission Needed reminds us that "Happiness is an inside job" and that we are allowed to say "No with Grace". That we are allowed to stand up for ourselves and that we do not have to live our lives with constant "energy vampires" who suck the life out of everyday. You have the choice and you do not need to ask for permission, to love, honor and respect yourself enough to say I deserve to be loved for who I am, just the way I am and no one has the right to make me feel less than, small and inadequate.No Permission Needed is a must read for so many people of different age groups. Young girls and women of any age all need to know, what this books main core message is, that your self-worth can not be found in anyone but yourself.

Yet - it is also a triumphant book - she has come such a long way in her personal and professional growth. She is bright, insightful and honest and has certainly done her research. Read the book! Reread it and keep it close - regardless of the page you open to - there will be a gem of wisdom, an experience, a comment, a suggestion, a validation that will keep you thinking and being mindful of your own life. The message for me - Never underestimate a person because of the struggles they are experiencing...you just never know. We are all on personal journeys. LisaRenee has been courageous enough to share hers with us.
