In 2010 Alison Champagnie, a mother of 4 teens, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer which spread to her bones and lung. She immediately turned to God for help and never gave up, she trusted God through a combination of state-of-the-art medicine, a holistic therapy program, and healing herbal bush teas. The author's family comes from Jamaica and introduced her to healing bush remedies and with this book she hopes to educate friends, family, and strangers about the natural bush teas that kill cancer cells, eliminate high blood pressure, diabetes and so many more diseases. She believes that God saved her life to show others that the diagnosis may be grim but its not a death sentence. The author walks the reader through the diagnosis, surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, holistic treatments and staying positive. Though she is very honest about everything she imparts humor because she knows anyone going through cancer needs the gift of laughter in their lives. The author's story is told with frank honesty and she is determined to help those fighting not only cancer but those battling any type of debilitating disease.

About the Author Alison Champagnie was born to Jamaican parents Hortense and Alvin Williams in Leeds, England. In 1983 she moved to the United States of America to attend college in Tallahassee, Florida. She moved to Queens, New York in 1985 where she met her future husband Wayne Champagnie, they moved to Virginia Beach, VA in 1990 and had four children, they were married from 1991 until their divorce was finalized in 2013. Alison worked at ECPI University from 1997-2013 in the Admissions Department and she was co-owner, editor and photographer for a Caribbean news magazine ‘West Indian Times’ and she was also a Radio DJ on WNSB Hot 91fm where she hosted the Caribbean Connection Show. In September, 2010 Alison was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer and it was her faith in God along with her family and close friends that fought along with her to take her out of the darkness of cancer. She believes that God has a natural plant that cures every disease known to man and she drinks specific herbal teas every day and remains in remission. Her desire is to spread the news to the world that a cancer diagnosis is not a death sentence and it is God’s will that we do not suffer.

By Rocki This book is an adventure for anyone who is going through, supporting someone, or grieving over someone's loss during their battle of cancer. It takes courage, love, support and of course Lady Cham's gifts from God that she reveals in this awesome story. You will laugh and cry over and over again. This book helped me to be there for my Grandmother during her battle. I praise God for this book and it's author!
