From the Author A Fool's Heart is Micah and Sylvia's tale of second chances. It takes place in the 1970's after the Vietnam War. While it is technically a prequel to the Volkoff Pack series, the story was written after Book Two. This novelette was meant as a free gift to my fans and those who might find my paranormal series interesting. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Pretty good! By Inspector Gadget Very sweet love story, with well fleshed-out characters.SPOILERS:I'm just bothered by Micah sending the twins away?! That just really didn't sit well with me. Like, where they could have healed together as a family, instead he chose to shun his older sons in favor of his new babies? That's really not cool.

By PPeters I hated Micah for abandoning his twin sons Hunter and Cyril, first to his first mate to raise, then to his pack to raise when his mate died. He is so lucky to have found his true mate Sylvia. She is a doll! I am stoked that the next book is Hunter and Cyril's story. Yesssss!
